I visited the High Weald Steam Working Weekend on the 17th of June and did some filming. This is some of the stationary engines that were running. I managed to stat recording on the rest but it seems stopped recording almost straight away!
One of the engines (The A.E and H Robinson) belongs to fellow RU-vids ‪@steamwally‬ who has a full video of it here:
• 1900 A.E & H. Robinson...
And other videos including of the restoration.
There will be other videos coming including of lots of steam and diesel moving loads around, as well as an automatic organ.
The website is here:

That was me yacking away about Land Rovers by the fence... doing what engine men do best.... Glad you enjoyed the show, I had fun showing the Robinson engine.

I missed you. Just quietly walking past filming, not paying proper attention. I went to film the rest of them, pressed record twice and didn't notice I wasn't filming! There will be other films coming including the organ playing baggy trouser and showing the playing behind the scenes as well as lots of traction engine action! Many thanks for exhibiting and watching!

I will put a link to your full video in the description. If any of the other engine owners have a RU-vid channels with a full video of their engines let me know.

Such a great time of year when all the stationary engines are running at shows - a soundtrack I'll never tire of. I particularly like the crazy sound of the Petters when they're off load, like the Petter M at the beginning - unmistakable from anywhere within earshot.

Yes. I do like those Petters. More to follow in the way of steam and diesel traction and a street organ.

It was. And if I had been paying attention and noticed the notice that said exactly when there would be a low level Spitfire fly past, I wouldn't have been eating a very nice mango sorbet at the time and I would have filmed it! Many thanks for watching!

0:42 is that a steam powered coffee grinder, or is it some sort of agricultural machine
@BensWorkshop
@BensWorkshop Год назад
I think it is a flour mill, but could also be grinder for some cattle feed. Also in this case it is being driven by an internal combustion engine but could have been driven off anything with a belt drive. Many thanks for watching!

@@BensWorkshop no, thank you for the videos, I love old engines, they are so fun to work on and they are also pretty simple without all the electronic nonsense that comes with the modern engines.
