acetraker1988 I use a Combat skill and 2 tech. The infiltrator profile would make this build worse as it's about getting the highest damage ever. The skills don't define your profile that's why they are separate... This is 100% a soldier build all about the weapons.
The skills definitely define the build, if this game had no profiles to choose from at all, any tech/combat setup is still an infiltrator build, just like any tech/biotic setup is still a sentinel regardless of what profile is chosen. I think this mindset comes from all the previous Mass Effect games where a pure soldier build means just combat skills, you get the picture :)

+Jr Tomlin not really. The build is about gun power. The solider gives the most gun power. Put it this way, if you go infiltrator, this build would be worse. Skills do not define your profile that's why they are 2 separate things.
No, I am talking about build, not profile, and in the title you refer to build not to profile. The build itself is an infiltrator one (and a good one by the way) whichever profile you use to maximize damage. It's not that much different than the one I used on my own infiltrator play through although you did some things that would improve it.
as always my friend good job. a really nice video. one key point i found out yesterday my self. after the 1.05 pathc the healing skill from team support only gives the healing effect if you have the revent VI or turret in you skill build. otherwise it gives no healing. but love the build it totaly roocks.
I'm unsure if this was mentioned, but if you nab the adrenaline chest mod I believe you can opt to choose the top of rank 6 for cloak so your health regenerates, since the mod allows your skills to instantly reload when you get a kill. This also means you can use Invasion over Incinerate, but I hate how slow it takes to cast Invasion. I've been using a very similar build as you are in the video, still trying to choose my favorite third power as I've gone through Pull, Invasion, Incinerate, Throw, Charge, Nova, etc. Also, Piranha + Plasma seeking aug can sometimes take advantage over the Dhan. I'm sure you've heard of it already though~
It's really not when you look at it. Infiltrator is a profile, yeah i am using 2 tech skills but that doesn't mean i should use Infiltrator. I use soldier cause this build is all around the damage of my weapons and the 2 tech spells give me the buffs i need. Soldier is not limited to combat skills, profiles and skills are separate choices. Probably should of got this across as many people think it's an Infiltrator build xD
Hmm... Definitely insane damage, but I'm not very clear on the role of Incinerate in all this. The stacking of damage bonuses does have staggering results, but in my personal preference, I don't like using stealth purely as a damage buff. Always felt a bit redundant for snipers considering how far from the fray they already are. You could probably stack up damage to similar levels by switching Incinerate for Invasion, since it debuffs ALL defenses on all types of enemies, not just armored or organic ones. The mixture of skills and profile felt a bit weird, but I definitely understand your goal here. Pretty good build as far as gun damage buffs go.
Vengeance It had to be delayed, as so many people complaining all about the damage of the shotgun, so I made this insane weapon damage. The pure biotic build will be coming.
where do you find the plasma seeking aug?! I researched it and can't for the life of me build it into a gun! I haven't been able to another one (in the off chance that I sold the one I had) where would you think you found so many?! thanks.
I know you can research one and i have heard you can get more from merchants or just a lucky drop. If you have used it on a gun you can deconstruct that gun and get it back 100% of the time if that helps.
