One day out from the local elections, Rishi Sunak struggles to gee up Tory MPs for what is set to be an embarrassment for the government. #pmqs Subscribe to our new podcast now, or you're a silly goose: linktr.ee/pubcast
You are totally Blind like rest of white British people while Muslims are slowly occupying England but you egoistic people will always focus on what Rishi Sunek is saying or doing. At least he is a True and loyal British citizen who is trying his best even if he fails.
@@abhi739 Ooo, and you were doing so well with the he'll be fine. I am, however, retired, so I don't need a job. I suppose you could retort that I'll lose my pension or something equally ridiculous, but I seriously doubt that will be the case, either. Good luck with your trolling elsewhere, though 👍
I don't understand why answers aren't enforced or non-answers aren't flagged up, by the speaker or whoever else. If the Prime Minister was held accountable and forced to actually answer questions, in a session called Prime Minister's Questions, the public would get an actual insight into the performance of whoever it is that's supposed to be leading the country.
These PMQ’s are a complete waste of time, all they do is make snide remarks to each other and laugh and joke, its about time they came together and sorted the fuckin UK out.
It is the public that will sort it out. We always do. The murmerings and dissatisfaction, the increasing anger. Our hope is, as in times past, some very capable people will help us. Where there is demand there is supply. These policies and punches inflict upon the populous, creating a certain type of people. This is why we wont allow disenfranchising of the disabled, and why we mistrust the police. Hello, Hillsborough, miners strikes. VERY wary of creative destruction.
Sunak's face looked locked into a grimace of laugh or cry when Starmer mentioned the former Tory MP who defected to Labour. Problem is as always, when the Tories are losing out comes the sarcasm, the smut, the nasty abuse.... Petty isn't in it. VOTE THEM OUT - INDEFINITELY !!!
It was nice to see KS pressing the pension issue. Other than that complete waste of time. The fact that RS kept proclaiming "Vote Conservative" said it all; all for public consumption, none for credible debate and inquiry. I'm not sure transparency gained from broadcasting PMQs has helped the format or purpose of it.
@@nathanpritchard2943 I think wrestling the perceived Tory exclusivity to the triple lock and defending pensioners is the right thing to do. My issue is its Prime Minister’s questions not potentially the next Prime Minister’s Questions.
Tax cuts. I got my 8 % increase in my pension, I am £20 worse off as the personal allowance is fixed. Sunak is a sneaky liar. This is to go on until 2028 and this affects both workers and pensioners.
Sorry to hear you have worked all your life and this is the result. I'm 34 and have given up on being working class, I'm tired of working for nothing and having nothing.
How can that be? If you get an increase in pension, you surely must still be better off by 80% of the increase. And if not, why not hand back your pension increase and be £20 better off.
You must be new to politics as the noise & behavior you see in Parliament has been going on for centuries & even in the Roman Senate & Athenian Assembly 2 thousand years ago.Read up on some history of Democracies..
They haven't a clue what it's like to live an ordinary person's life, they're sat in there making farmyard noises grinning & laughing amongst themselves it's a pompous sideshow for the rich they don't give a damn about us and never will! Voting either main party is a waste of time they're as bad as each other
Sunak will not be living in the same country when he gets kicked out of office, he will no doubt bugger off to California to spend retirement in his other property.
He was referring to a law which actually and literally exempts Sir Beer from Tax on his pension over £1m. It actually and literally is one law for him.
Do you (Albert Tatlock) mean the Act in 2013, which was enacted by a Conservative led government, and referred to the size of the pension pot? The parameters were set by that government too. It does not, and cannot, exempt pension income. It exempts a cap on the savings pot, whereby excess savings are taxed, and nobody knows what's in that pot, unless you have proof of what's in there. I'm not overly fond of Starmer, but do try to get your facts right.
You wouldn't get any PMQ's then as there's no way Starmer, if PM, would or could answer any question on any subject without having a BIden type brief in front of him.
I don’t trust Tories since Boris Johnson as PM. Time for change to get Labour back to government. I will vote Labour again like I did for MP election few months ago
Sunack wants too take away a doctor's power too diagnose if a patient is not well enough for work , and taking PIP away from people with mental health issues and other disabilities
Tax increases for the rich. Tax the billionaires. Tax the corporations. The difference between a million and a billion - A million seconds is 12 days.A billion seconds is 31 years. Nobody should hoard that much wealth to themselves. Tax the billionaires.
@@michaelmorgan9289 what do you know of my struggles and efforts in life? Nothing at all, but you rush to judgement in support of the most imbalanced and unfair system in human history. Do you honestly think that a billionaire sitting on a multi-billion pound fortune should NOT pay a higher rate of tax? When a greedophile scumbag like Sunak or Tice talks about "cutting taxes" do you honestly think they are talking about you? No mate, they're talking about cutting taxes for the Shell Corpration, the privatised Railway, energy and water bosses who are ripping you off for every penny they can pinch out of your pocket, they ain't talking about cutting your paltry tax contributions, they don't even make a ripple in the ocean. You are as deluded as the rest if you believe that bullshit.
When Kier Starmer repeatedly has to ask the same question and Rishi does not answer he should: 1) less waffle, just "You did not answer. Tell me in 1 sentence. Where is the money coming from?" 2) Request the speaker of the house to assist him in getting an actual answer from Rishi 3) Refuse to get up and ask the final question(s), clearly pointing out that there is no point when no questions are being answered. 2/3 may be unprecedented but it may get some media coverage on the issue.
@@michaelmorgan9289but in that case Sunak shouldn't have said he would get rid of National Insurance without knowing where the money is coming from. So again it's showing that the Tories have no fucking clue and are just trying to throw money at the problem, just like they do to their mates
Cynically I believe it is in Starmer's best interest to play this game as it is all of theirs. When he is on the other side he will have to waffle and not answer when there are difficult questions. So why set the precedent now that the PM actually has the answer?
Money is coming from disabled and out of work people been declined on deserved benefits as well as empty promise of Rwanda scam and inflation as everything you buys you pay tax on top of gas and electricity bill taxes and commissions there's your answer rich is gonna get richer and poor will not exist as they seem to be weak they will be all homeless whats the rise of homeless in 2024 compared to 2018? Rough sleeping levels in England have increased by 132% since 2010 and by 16% since 2015. Says it all Google and research if you don't believe me this country needs to fix up immediately.
@@alexharrison2743 How do you know that Tories throw money at their mates?? Oh yes! It was another false & unproven allegation made by Rayner. That must be where you got it from. Regurgitating Rayners lies.
@@michaelmorgan9289 Ok Tory boy, this isn't about Rayner it's about Sunak and how he's going to find £46 billion to pay for scrapping a tax. It's strange how Sunak suspended 30p Lee Anderson for anti islamic tripe against Sadiq Khan but gives his full support to Susan Hall who has history of racist anti islamic attacks on Khan. That says alot about Sunak.
Says someone with a naive Hollywood view of Socialism, Marxism, Communism & Putinism. You should speak to those who suffered under those types of dictatorships then you may realise how well off you are.
His free meals, haircuts and everything else on his expense account could keep so many poor workers and disabled people fed even without using his own money, these tories are gangsters
Even the conservative mps cannot shout loud when he said vote conservative. No confidence in themselves . Tomorrow the heads will roll and the letters will flow to the chairman again for another leadership bid before elections . What a waste of tax payers money
@@anab0lic Workers Party is economically left but socially conservative. If that's your thing that's fine but I get the feeling some left-wingers don't fully know what the Workers party ideology is
It's infuriating to witness politicians prioritising petty squabbles over meaningful action. While they're busy playing political games, the country suffers. It's time for them to stop treating governance like a spectator sport and start taking their responsibilities seriously. We deserve leaders who work tirelessly to improve our nation, not individuals more concerned with scoring points against each other. It's time to hold them accountable and demand better.
The level of lies from Sunak is astounding. “Cut taxes by £900” - what he hasn’t said is that anyone earning under £26,000 will now end up paying more tax?! An absolute bunglefart.
Very sad to see both leaders in Parliament point score in the wake of a 14 year old child being murdered on our streets, rather than apply their minds cross party to commit to coming us with a joined up plan, properly resourced with budget to address knife crime in all its forms in this country. Condolences to the family who lost their son so tragically. Wishing those who were seriously injured, including those brave officers who rushed into harm’s way, a full and swift recovery.
To be fair to Kier - I think the angle of these questions is that since Sunak won't say how they will fund their policy nor rule it out, when the election does come around he can use that against them. Until the cons. can provide any fact on this, it'll be a way to split more older voters away from the tories.
Based on the finance ministry's estimates, annual payment totals for 2024/25 for a family of four are $1,800 in Alberta, $1,200 in Manitoba, $1,120 in Ontario, $1,504 in Saskatchewan, $760 in New Brunswick, $824 in Nova Scotia, $880 in Prince Edward Island and $1,192 in
they are literally only talking about pensions and promising to give loads more money to pensioners - this is why young people have to vote - we have to make them care about US as well
Yes,they promise, but take it away because the increase is taxed, and the personal alliance is fixed at £12, 570, as the increase takes you over that, you go into a higher tax code and most of the increase disappears. The same thing app.oes to those employed.
