Im Canadian/English and couldn't be more happier that the MLS is growing. Watching this game felt like watching any Premier League or La Liga match. This is why Messi signed for Miami to play in the MLS. This league has potential and respect to players like Messi, Busquets, Cheilieni and Alba for coming here rather than Saudi Arabia and the money.

MY FIRST MLS GAME. It makes me happy to see a competitive match & most importantly the amount of fans attending. MLS is growing indeed. The atmosphere is almost identical to any European Game.

15 to 20 years ago, an attendance like this in a football matches in the US is only possible when a European side visits for an MLS All-Star game. Everyone looked forward to seeing their favorite European clubs visits the US. That was the best way to attract people in the US to watch football. Nowadays, look at the attendances for football in the US. The Rose Bowl is one of the most iconic and largest stadium in all North America. This El Traffico Derby, with 80,000+ supporters from both sides, is by far one of the best derby I've seen in MLS to date. As far as the MLS All-Star games go, it's not as taken serious as it once was in the past. Because defeating a European side in the MLS All-Star games was an achievement. Not so much these days. More for entertainment and a break from the regular MLS season and preseason warm up for the visiting club from Europe. Fun to watch though due to the festivities and mini games the MLS All-Star weekend put together, like the skills challenge. GREAT JOB MLS... Wait till Messi arrive though.

Every single rivalary game I feel the overdose chaotic and dramatic soccer in my veins. This rivalary as fun as Boca v River and Madrid v Barca. Don't @ me. With Messi coming to MLS and the WC giving it an insane boost after its done, I wonder if MLS will officially become a top 5 league in the world. It would be the first time in history a former top 5 European league loses its place to the US. Scary thought.

Shout out LA area fans for turning up. Much respect from an NYC fan. Atlanta, Charlotte, and now LA. MLS might not be there quality-wise, but in terms of fan turnout, this is up there with Europe's best.

MLS does a great job with their RU-vid Channel. They do great resumes. I don't watch a lot of football anymore as i did back in the days (i am from europe).... but this league with all these teams and fans are just amaizing and i have followed it since like 2016. It grew so well!! Incredible fans and atmosphere, big full stadiums, i envy you a lot!

If you went to this game and you were a galaxy fan, it was a complete war zone, but watching FC fans leave that stadium with their tail tucked was the greatest Fourth of July ever

I was at the July 4th game between the Galaxy and New England Revolution at the Rose Bowl in the inaugural season of MLS. We saw Independence Day at a theatre in the afternoon, the game in the evening, then fireworks afterwards, good memories.

This game showed more passion than any prem rivalry, that I can tell you. There may not be as many talents as European football but for a league that was only founded recently and had to get fans from scratch, ya I’d say they are doing well
