Hik-Vision IDS-7204HUHI-K1/4S Line Crossing Detection Set up - Human Body 

Always good videos, my dvr is an annke, I find the whole cctv adventure fascinating. I only got it to put a single camera up to monitor an area which I consider the most vulnerable on my property and yet I find myself spending hours playing with the options, testing them, getting them perfect, it is a lot more difficult than many people would think, shadows, plants moving in the wind, the sun moving through the course of the day etc casting different shadows from so many different things, truely addictive, the best computer game I have ever played is cctv, and now I have started playing around with cameras, annke, hikvision, spro, swann, I really need to get a life.

I have the same system and I think that Motion Detection (in Normal Event), line crossing, intrusion, etc., (in Smart Event) is a good idea but only on quiet location and not where there are cats, dogs, birds, etc., pass by a trip the alarm. I have these set too. Mostly, mine are tripped by cats and birds on foot. No dogs yet. The sensitivity is set to low, it to test it is to walk on these lines. If you tripped the alarm on your Hik-connect App, i5 is set right. If a cat or bird goes into the protected field and trips the alarm, decide the sensitivity until it doesn't give false alarm but it should still sense you. It a catwalks in the field and you reduces the sensitivity to say, 20 in the Notion Detection and it still detects a cat, then there is nothing else you can do. If you change to zero, then there is no pick up of signals because zero means zero. If, for example you, you and to catch a mouse, then you have to increase the sensitivity, up to100 if you want to because of small body size. The same if you want to count day old chicks. Problem with Hikvision is that, each morning when grey becomes colour from the beginning of daylight in the evening when day light end and color turns back to grey (black & white, the beeping sound (alarm) goes off, beep beep beep, be-be-be. Same in the morning when grey turns to colour, the same sound is emitted. It more of a nuisance that a solution. So far, I haven't found a clue on how to disable it.

Hi i have a question i have iVMS-4500 app in my phone and i can’t turn on the alarm notifications it’s telling me connection failed why 😕?

I have a 7116 K2. But notifications aren't receiving to the hik connect app. Can you help? I tried everything I know.

We need a DVR that support 5 mp cameras, smart human detection and has alarm output. We are planning to finalise first model. iDS-7208HUHI-K1/4S(B) iDS-7208HUHI-M1/S I think M series is the newer model. Any other major performance difference between both especially in the smart functions ?

I have the same dvr and the firmware version is v4.21.100 build 200307. I can’t make out if this is the current latest one or not? There is one available in the hikvision website but how do I know it’s not older than one I’m on

Does hikvision app on mobile can send notification when someone cross line?
