Day 1 of Moreeb dune hillclimb racing in Liwa UAE! My instagram: / peterbjorck My second youtube channel (Swedish): / busbil My Facebook page for my cars: / bjorcksbusbil My company: www.bjprace.com
They sidestep the clutch from the rev limiter in 4th gear! Depending on gear ratios, you can bet that the wheels are going from 0 to about 100 mph instantaneously. 🏁🏁🏁
Straight six is such a great engine. 90 angles and straight lines, as opposed to v8's with non-90* angles, easier to not be square. And, straight 6 has more main caps than a v8.
Thanks for covering this again for 2020! You are the guy who brings this event to the world! You are also directly responsible for the fact that all the kiddies can get one of these trucks in Grand Theft Auto Online. Love how RU-vid brings me so many car cultures from around the world!
Seems like they started further back from the hill this year seeing the way they are hitting the hill. Thank you for sharing awesome video Moreeb hill races are my favorite!
Peter, this is what I love about your channel. You cover some very interesting race cars and engine combos. Can’t wait to see the engine video next, keep it coming.
Great Video, and Thanks they don't show enough of these competitions around the place. What i find nuts is lots of these vehicles are built to survive the few days its like drag racing but more fun
Really appreciated the voiceover and description of each class, found your old videos YEARRRRSSS ago and I am pleasantly surprised to see some new videos and that the quality has also gone up! looking forward to more my friend.
Got notification button on for you! You like the hill climbs??😂 so happy to see another vlog from you. Maybe next one can be personal, up n close. Your engineering is first class. Let’s see some more of that👊🏻😁🇦🇺 Thanx for posting!!
R-Dizz Automotive I bet they are losing power as a result... years ago someone did research into how much power grass track cars lost in a season with/without air filters, it was a bit scary. I am sure sand drag cars will be worse.
All the sand that goes through is just extra wear, even when not in desert you get extra wear. But meh race engine are rebuild quit often so it doesn't really matter. In sandy conditions I would like a filter to keep at least the big hands full of sand out off the engine, oh right I'm poor I don't race
absolute stupidity, look what a small amount of sand does in no time to a lawn mower engine. imagine 1000++hp engine speeds and pressures upon this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NwIjLECJmA8.html
Thank you for your efforts! This has become my favorite channel. Could there be an opportunity to set up a video showing the remains of the exploded engines?
Seems that the best way to do this is to slowly let the clutch out then hammer it to lift the front wheels right before it angles up. Most of them pop the clutch then the front wheels drop and hit right where the incline begins, which seems to slow them down a lot.
Hi ,first I did not know you spoke Arabic!!! I know some. Got friends for Irak and Asiria.Second ,my uncle used to do that back in the 80's with a Jeep I6 Jeep block Chevy head reworked with Ford valves and a 318 Dodge carb and chains attached to each side in case the motor mounts broke. Also he had the same paddle tires with a welded diff. That All happened in Puerto Rico where is a big thing too.Now his son (my cousin) is following after him and that's where I got all my skills at 17 to be a mechanic not just a parts replacer. Now I got a 240 wagon with a 7mgte engine and a whole lotta other adaptations. Those six bangers no turbos look like Nissan Patrols ,right? That's was so much fun to watch and thanks for bringing me back to my humble beginnings.Dz
Seems as though some of the six cylinder racers were experiencing some fuel delivery problems. All in all, I enjoy watching motorheads from all over the globe on RU-vid. Each individual sport has it’s own nitch in the racing world and it’s own set of challenges to overcome to be competitive.
Peter have you decided if you're going to weld that Lamborghini block? If you do, I'd like to see the procedure. These trucks are awesome which one was yours?
Tring to figure out their builds and run strategically. Maybe im just not hearing it right, but are they just running really wide gears and keeping at an optimum speed rather than trying to go through all the gears? Some of the cars sound like they stay at a certain rpm/mph once they get there, therefore, they calculate that as a constant where they then focus and tune grip.
