You should be with us in 2012, join now: my.barackobama.... Hillary Clinton spoke at the 2008 Democratic National Convention on August 26, in Denver, CO.
That was absolutley amazing. She did a wonderful job. I really believe she unified the party with this speech. Kudos to Hillary! That was lovely, empowering and it gave me chills.
I'm impressed, she's shown greatness in her defeat allthough she'd wished for a different outcome of the campaign she's fair and supports Obama. She's a real team player, well done, brilliant speech and a great lady.
At first I was a little afraid that Hillary was going to be unenthusiastic, but then she really turned up the heat and gave an excellent speech. The argument that she makes to support Obama is the best one possible. She is telling her supporters to remember WHY they supported her, not that they supported HER. If they actually believe in the things that compelled them to support her, then supporting Obama will ensure that they get what they want. I'm proud of her.
i watched this live, but it is good enough to watch again!! she is pitch perfect in this speech and i think needs to be commended for her work tonight!!
hillary touched me that was the best speech ever this lady is very great she has healed American voters, she is a fighter and her and obama are the best politicians i have ever seen in my life time when the best meets the best, expect the best, obama and hillary have changed the face of voters it almost spiritual, cause when you touched its a blessing, she should be secretary of state that's the best for now hillary this for a great lady ,supporting a great man
Hillary was absolutely at the top of her game tonight!! She is absolutely in the same league as Bill as a political speaker. She's accomplished a lot, and she did exactly what we all hoped. Thank you Hillary!!
"I'm here tonight as a proud mother, a proud democrat, as a proud democratic senator from NY, and an proud supporter of Barack Obama." Did she diss Bill intentionally?! FANTASTIC speech nonetheless. Such a passionate (and much needed) appeal for unity. WELL DONE, HC!
Hi from Barcelona, Spain! The world is watching you, and hoping for a great Obama success. As I read in a funny sticker two weeks ago in Boston, "I'm Not Anti-Bush, I'm Pro-Intelligence". Keep Going, there are dozens of thousands like me, outside the USA, waiting for this change!!! The Best, Toni.
Hillary, I love your spirit. You are one hell of a lady. I would have been proud to call you our President. Thank you for mentioning Harriet Tubman. That was powerful. UHURU!
An incredible speech! It's nice to see all of the party division behind us. Obama 08!! We need this chance, and Hilary is willing to put everything aside to get behind a candidate who will do just that. LETS WIN THIS ELECTION!!
This speech makes me reconsider Senator Hillary Clinton. We need to re elect her to the Senate. She's just too good of a Democrat and even better of a person. Every person has weaknesses but her strengths far outweigh her weaknesses. And if she can develop on those weaknesses, possibly one of the best democrats in years. I'd love to work with her in the Senate.
"No way, No how, No McCain. Barack Obama is my candidate, and he MUST be our President." "We don't need 4 more years of the last 8 years" 17:15-18:05. Preach it.
Hillary Clinton's challenge to her supporters to vote in November for the very principles that led them to support her in the first place was very powerful. Obama/Biden 08!
I was a big fan of the Clintons in the 90s when I could first vote - they are why I love politics. This primary season they disappointed me. This speech washed that all away. I hope this Hillary sticks around. Brilliant.
Can you believe that some Clinton supporters are so vehemently against voting for Obama that they're actually considering McCain?! I hope this speech deters them...
no way no how no mccain! no way no how no mccain! no way no how no mccain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think everyone should start chanting that!
hillary was just perfect. Hillary 2016! Nancy polosi house speaker. Hillary clinton senate leader! Get rid of harry reid and let women run congress get stuff done. Who agrees with me?
Where's the mythical PUMA crowd? It seems it wasn't a large enough group to make any disruptions during her speech. I don't think it ever really existed anyways. Somehow PUMA always found a way to get their message on FOX. Go figure.
