I hope they stay relatively subtle. I personally don't need to run around shooting a dragon at people. Should be cool all in all though and we always have the freedom to pick and choose the ones we like!
@@Rogue9 the only one that currently exists is the Finka one from the last battlepass and that was a nice improvement in looks for gun model, but you are right they might go full dragon in the future
I was there for the "behind the scenes" stream, and let me tell you, when he had the stream set to the wrong screen (like showing his face and not the gameplay) ahh. good times (also, and I mentioned this on the stream as well; clearing up the smoke after a breach is actually a not insignificant nerf to Warden, as he no longer has the advantage in those situations anymore. I used to use warden to peer through a thermite explosive hole all the time, now there's no point of doing that as Warden anymore I guess)
@@TamBruv Yeah, that was me! I think it was about a Mira clip on Club House if I remember correctly. Ha, I still occasionally get replies on that from time to time, most of them talking about how it's because it's on Console. Don't 100% remember though.
@@TamBruv I probably will make the switch once they figure out the whole hacking problem. It's pretty much the only thing holding me back from switching at this point. I do play on PC, but only occasionally, and my experiences have been awful so far, but that was about a year ago so who knows what's up now
They probably won’t let anything stick to clash shields due to three main reasons: 1: To make sure Clash players don’t move back and kill their own teammates intentionally or not. 2: Clashes shield is really hard to program as is her shield gets a new bug every season and having sticky gadgets stick to her would probably cause a lot of difficulty and bugs not to mention shields in general are buggy sometimes you can’t just shoot through them as if they weren’t there and that problem still hasn’t been fixed throughout the game’s history (mainly because it’s a relatively rare occurrence and they don’t know what causes it most of the time.) 3: shield are bad... especially after the major nerf. They aren’t fun to play, they still suck in anywhere that isn’t masters or pro league and Clash is probably the worst defender in the game right now.
Personally play monty quite a bit so how dare you but I agree they nerfed the shit out of shields as well as their hip fire for no reason monty had a fairly low pickrate and imo isn't even that oppressive this nerf just felt bad to me because I never panick when there's a monty pushing me i just kinda focus on the next enemy until he sunshields an I can trade 1 for 1 with him whilst his teammate executes me - assuming their teamate is good I also play clash from time to time because she is just stupidly viaable and IU think she has a place in this game too I've never got frustrated at a clash as a player - if I loose a game due to a clash it's because me and my team wasted util throughout the round that didn't allow us to clear her
I just don’t understand why everyone wants to continue nerfing the shielders. I have NEVER had a problem with shielders until they messed with them. Monty at his strongest was still pretty crappy pick as a solo, and blitz has had his ups and downs. And clash.... poor, poor clash.... she WAS over powered when first release, but after the first major nerf that was all she needed. They kept nerfing and clashes dwindled. She went from a slightly above average defender to bottom of the barrel.
Rogue 9, I have a question with guns and stuff, in r6 is a weapon class unsupressed for example the SMG quieter or louder than another weapon class like an AR, if you don't know, can you make a video testing the sound of the different weapon classes (Pistol, Smg, shotgun, AR, machine pistols, and DMRs) and see how loud each of them are and list them from quietest to loudest or vice versa unsupressed Or if you already know how loud each of them are, can you reply to me and list them from quietest to loudest or vice versa, it would help a lot for me and I hope you see my comment
Even with all the shady bullshit that happened to you with Ubi montreal, you still give so much to this community it's insane. Utmost respect for you always man. Wouldnt mind you exposing Flanked more though😅
I've came very close to picking up the phone last week and getting a lawyer involved to make this a legal matter. The lies that Flanked told in his video are no joke and a response from me to "his version of events" is the very least of his worries. Will get around to it when I have the time but the more I think about the things he said, the more they annoy me and I'll definitely do something about it.
@@Rogue9 yea he used to be one of my favorite content creators but I'm a guy that values integrity a lot and I cant respect him after this. I await your video , good luck.
One of the places i know where the explosion smoke haze messes up visibility so bad that it makes it attacker sided is that one back door area that connects to gym in new house. I learned that the hard way when new house was in the discovery playlist, a few matches in and i just gave up trying to challenge that area of the map
@@Hawk88568 i got a ton of clips of my Headshots simply not being detected, Gave a random a new eye in his forehead With a ONE tap He killed me with 10 hp remaining LMAO
Honestly, the explosion haze looks really nice and absolutely should be kept in non-competitive mode. In the end, for us normal player, this is still a game.
Ubi don,t give a shit about the players if they have to choose between the pros and the average player experience they always pick the Pros because, they matter more for them. I honestly believe that theya re stripping the game from the best experiences it gives just to force the competitive aspect of the game. Since they introduced map ban in ranked I only got to play kafe and bank,o I got bored of it....What is competitive if you always play on the same fucking maps anyway?
Tbh I wish the competitive and casual sides of r6 were separated. I miss in the old days where r6 looked more rugged and was more immersive. Now it’s not even the same game it used to be.
No the smoke should be fixed cos I remember watching the breach video that’s literally says breaching chargers provide a momentary tactical advantage and it shows the smoke helping.
@@recruit_life0715 blame the absolute disinterest of the populace to switch even though every government and scientific work in the US follows the metric system
Wow can I just say I'm so happy about the plant animation change, there have been so many times where I'm behind good cover but my thicc ass operator wont plant cause they don't have room for the animation, so I have to reposition and possibly die.
Now if only Ubi would fix the issue of bodies being client sided, I died so many times just because a dead body was hiding a frost mat or someone was hiding inside/behind it and said corpse absorbed all of my shots while letting them shoot me to bits.
@@DanWee Even if they don't block shots (which they do) they still hide objects/players even though they are client sided so for you the enemy is completly hidden behind a body while on their screen the body is in complete diffrent position.
I am back with results and it's safe to say that my statement has been proven to be true. Test Evidence: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cYssB2qWVHQ.html
Hey Rogue, haven't played in a couple seasons. Old siege player. I left due to the influx of hackers, recurrent poor hitreg issues, etc. (relative to the time). Any comments on the SOTG now?
I took a loooong break and only really came back slowly this season, I've been having a decent time. The game is improving a lot on all of the little details (especially this season) and I've had few issues with hackers since the big ban waves over the last couple of months. I'd say it's worth a shot
@@useruserrr yeah when I heard him say that they were toning it down I got excited until he said that it’s the same but two seconds shorter :/ I’ve lost so many gun fights in my time in R6 solely due to me not being able to hear someone rush me since I got shot or touched a bandit battery by accident. This is a start but hopefully they can remove it fully in the future
I don't think they should remove the smoke effect of explosions. Just make it Ultra settings exclusive. Because, let's be honest, if you play r6 on ultra is because of the feeling of realism as much as you can of course, not because you want to play competitive.
The breaching charges role was to. Make the defenders feel so unexpected and gazed by the frag entry. This is just a useless nerf to an attacking gadget
I think for the gadget on gadget interaction should be : If they got mixed like banshee evil eye both of them should get destroyed or the one that is placed inside it
I think Melee should be 2 hits from the front, 1 hit from the back. It's annoying that my bullets do less damage than one swipe of a knife to a fully armored up person
That low health sound dampening has cost me more fights than I can count..... My only previous solution was to 180 and just angle check ASAP. Don't even get me started on the cover/setup advantages of runouts.... I am very happy with the changes coming! :) This makes me excited for ranked for the first time in 3 years.
I'm sad they're getting rid of the dampening, it was a nice realistic touch.. cus you do go into shock temporarily when presented with major pain like that, and it does fuck with your senses
Bro! The beard!!! Insanity dude. I might get back into siege... fell away in Tarkov land for the last few months and Siege feels so arcade like now to me. Funny how I used to think it was so realistic (gadgets aside)
I think that the lingering smoke effect should stay in the game, but reduce its duration to like 1/4 or 1/3 of its old time. So that when a wall explodes its not immediately easy to find a target for either side.
Just why can't you have a different key for dropping the defuser in the first place instead on a "zone"? Also I don't know why the melee is the biggest problem they want to tackel.
i think if hibana could make her gadget stick to bullet proof gadget that she would become pretty op because she can now shoot 2 pellets at a time so she would be able to destroy 9 gadgets which is a bit much
Barricades need to be one hit again if they keep this melee change. If they are going to remain 2 hit, then keeping this melee feature with the reset delay will feel so clunky and slow.
Being a 2016 era player, I wouldn't be surprised if the crosshair changes were the Bugfix, rather than the Bug. These things take a long while to even be noticed by them sometimes, and also I'm guessing many in the devteam weren't there in the old days
By the way, at least one other Siege youtuber was saying that shotgun spread got more lethal. Community mostly said he was (noobly) mistaken, though, so I don't have my hopes up
I have a question for you and anyone who reads this. Would you want to see Rainbow six siege to come out with a new and improved version to this game ( like a sequel. To take advantage of the new consoles) or to continue adding on to the game as it is.
A new and improved would be cool because there is gonna be a point where there are gonna be so many operators and it will just be stupid they could improve graphics and stuff like that that would be quite nice.
For me no. Because siege is years of work,i play and played many games and siege is so balanced at this point, where even 200 ms delay can affect the gameplay. Siege player, sometimes, complaint for 3 pixel issues, not realize how (in this state of the game) balanced the game is. A new six siege version means ton of bugs and lack of balancing.
Yeah bro I’m actually kinda sad about that. I was hoping for a full removal of that feature since it doesn’t belong in a competitive game such as this. Since sound is one of your most valuable resources so accidentally touching a electrified wall and going deaf for 3 seconds is so annoying and has gotten me killed many many times.
@@theblandcharlie822 you can’t expect to be in a perfect position the entire match. In a random series of events you can get into situations where you can do nothing other than to trade hp. I don’t think you should be punished that hard for trading a couple of shots since sound is way too important in this game
@@raistlyn117_8 true, but it doesn't matter is it's fair, it is punishment for exposing yourself. If you aren't using theoretical physics and advanced psychology, you instantly get banned by battle-eye for being bad
Since you need to 3 hit barricades now and melee is slowing down, encountering a barricade in a clutch situation later in the game can really screw you up.
@@Dottol- How am I naive? The pros have literally been bitching for like 3-4 seasons about how siege keeps pushing gadgets and making gunplay less important to make the game more enjoyable for casual play and this season even takes that to the next level and pushes that even harder. There have been minimal to almost no changes for pros in like a year to siege it's been focused on casual players.
@@Lors_101 look even if something is slightly unbalanced but fun or immersive I think that should be fine for casual, for unranked and above I'd understand, but removing maps from casual, rebalancing operators or weapons that underperform in casual that now do even worse just because they're too strong in pro league is damaging.
@@Dottol- That's not balancing for pro-league... the operators they nerf that are too strong usually have like a 70% playrate at all ranks with good win rates. The most recent change they've made specifically for pro-league was the Goyo nerf, that was 8 months ago. The map changes seem to be more for casual players to me. With the addition of new player playlist it seems to be on a rotation to help out newer players and casual players that don't like having to learn and memorize every map I don't really see how a map rotation would help pro players who play, know, and memorize peaks, hiding spots, and flanking routes on every map. I don't like the map rotation but it seems like it helps worse players more who don't put in the time to learn maps.
The smoke from explosions taken out is just another nerf to to Warden, because your play Warden to get a quick pic on a thermite. Bad change in my opinion.
