👋 hey , if you ever make it to the northeast or norcal let me know I'm out west in the winters and spur trips in the summer but most my mining is done back east now. Let me know I'll show you around
@@GramCanyonSam I live in Maine. Let me know next time you go out I work shift work and it never fails I have to work when stuff is happening. If I can make a trip Ill definitely go 👍🏻
Hey Adam 🤝 thanks for showing shape of the river....amazing change. Irene was supposed to be it for a long while. I haven't been over because it wont stop raining. The air actually smells like a mushroom.
Funny you say that.... I couldn't breath well on the ride home and the whole next day and I was abnormally tired after Ieft for the day. I had to pull over on the highway in the middle of the day that's not like me.
I will add that lots of toxins entered the waters from banks rich in arsenic and other heavy Metals not just gold. And all the houses along the river the old ones anyway have sewer tied in along the creeks all those are broken now so idk 🤷🏼♂️ its probably smarter to give it a while I won't be back until fall probably if we have an event over there " if they repair the roads"
It's definitely a funky year. There are molds in big volumes that we normally don't get exposed to. Allergy season got worse and it definitely drags you down. And the sewer deal is sad but true......is it old heavy metal poop red or VT red....tell you after a pan lol.
Should be some great flood gold & nuggets to be found in a month or so. Headed to Cali shortly so I have to focus on that trip and put hometurf on the burner for a few weeks , better off anyways its rough up there
@@GramCanyonSam rough Everywhere, Bro'🤣Goin' to Cali the end of September, M'self, but I'm Definitely going back North, at some point, The "Wild. Ammanusuc is "haunting my Dreams,"🤨🤣🤣🤣😎‼️🦾🇺🇸👍
That's awesome man I really appreciate the ones that know that life 👍 not many know the full full story but that's going to be in a few up and coming magazines etc this year. As for new Mexico lol ...... we're you following Along as I crossed the country the first year? I broke down and lost a PC of my mind that day and almost quit and went home. I have to always that flash in your pan for getting everyone involved in keeping me going. Its been such an amazing few years
That was down creek .... our og spot 👌 we haven't worked it in years it was under pressure like the current Digs are now due to bad camping behavior by a few miners.
Man I'm sorry to hear that 😞 but glad you are on some good gold our spots it actually screwed us it's gonna take a year more of floods to get back down to where gold mite be.
Ya it's not great when this happens 😕 but in all reality the water owned all the land it took well before any road or house was there. Once was will be again!
Great video although sad we in Australia had the same after 2 years of bad drought then monster floods ,I find the gold does replenish but it does take a while to work out the best new spots cheers Glenno.
@@GramCanyonSam good mate working too much and not prospecting enough you know how it goes ,i’ve enjoyed ya last few vids bro getting onto some wicked spots
Yup big water flushes gold waaaaay down stream but at least it exposed some layers on the side and if your lucky you can find a spot or two near bedrock with bigger pieces but it’s tough finding it after an event of that magnitude looking forward to more when you get the chance thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Ya unfortunately the odds of there being nuggets from that bedrock spot still are slim the original anyways with that large Boulder missing it was cranking over it and it's kind of smooth , but the feeder rite above dumps out very nice course big gold so I'm sure it's filled some in
@@GramCanyonSam that feeder sounds interesting I’d be finding the spot where the two met at high water and finding the spot where the big pickers were pushed just downstream…🤩
Great video just goes to show the true power of mother nature and the power of water. I hope to someday next summer to get up that way on my way back to Maine and do some prospecting in VT, NH, then My home State of Maine.
Water is the strongest element people don't realize it's power and capability. Not only will it overtake everything in its path it can be pressurized to cut through every other element, its soft & hard truly an amazing thing we take for granted until we don't. I didn't respect it or understand it's power until I working off only my gold and was forced to mine the south yuba river in full flood stage. Absolutely one of the most dangerous things I've ever done ✔️ and I do dangerous stuff for fun 😅
Trust me I've done well in the culverts ! But this is not the time to be messing around at the crossings the roads are barely holding on the area is really bad , I spend alot of time up there and enjoy the local life I don't want to be part of the destruction 😉
Yeah I live in Forest Hill just outside Brandon. Got my first piece of gold Before the Flood. Haven't been out since. I'm on the opposite side of the Hill though. Sorry for the paragraph y'all have some beautiful gold
I'm out in Foresthill alot it's one of my favorite spots when I'm out west. My buddies own almost all of skunk canyon in Michigan bluff . Maybe when I am out at the start of the new year you can get out for a day with us and find some more !
oh my god The intensity of the storms is increasing. I don't believe in climate change but I'm getting more and more thinking about it. Gorgeous those exposed bedrock pockets. This storm has given you advantages. The nuggets were beautiful. Well done, Adam. Best regards from Saxony/DE, Peter ⚒👍🤠
I'm convinced now atleast in the states the weather is modified, I've seen and worked around and noticed to much since I was a young boy lol the pieces all fit unfortunately 😕 it's almost predictable if you watch the sky
