Each year, hundreds of thousands of spectators visit Pasadena and millions around the world tune in to watch the annual Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl Game, but how did this New Year’s tradition start? Learn the history of this beloved New Year’s Day celebration!

First, congrats on reaching 1K subscribers! Second, really love this version. Watched it with my wife (who is from Pasadena and loves Rosebowl history), she thought it was great. Quick. To the point. Great video!! I lived in Pasadena for 3 years, literally off of Colorado and refer not having gone to watch the parade

Thank you!!! I honestly don’t know if I lived that close if I would’ve gone; I can imagine it’s pretty stressful around that time for people that live real close. I’ve camped out twice for the parade. If I go again, I’ll definitely buy tickets in the stands.

@@californiography you know what it was for us if that we have a big family party to ring in the new years and wouldn’t actually get back home close to 2am, so we’d still be fast asleep when the parade would start, hahaha!
