WWE belts don't have hands to hold candles.

I recall reading that at some point there were plans to give everyone the "Rated R" treatment with a custom middle plate, but they eventually decided against it. Good in hindsight, I hate the current interchanging sideplates we use today.

Exactly, growing up it kinda pissed me off that they kept using it.

The belt that I always thought was the best for the WWF championship was the original I should say the original the one with hulk Hogan when it had the eagles wings out that's my favorite

I think if they have more than 4 plates it just looks crouded, except for the NXT belt.

I'm a wrestling historian, and the big green belt was a thing of beauty, and it fit Hogan perfectly.

Right. But Vince is all about "sports entertainment" with his company, he doesn't care about having a legit professional wrestling product so things that would make the product seem more official get overlooked for the flash and bang BS.

Dump this “universal “ crap. Bring back the winged eagle for the “heavyweight champ” the gold belt for the “world champ” The tag belts should drop the penny and dime look and go back to the 90s WWE and WCW look ( also call them HVy wgt and World) US and Int are ok. Women should have a women’s champ and tag champ Either that or drop this nonsense of having TWO championships in the heavy weight, tag, and women’s div WWE was best (post WCW merger) when the US and InT each stayed on one show and the other champions rotated between a rivalry on one show and a chase for the #1 contender on the other Having all these identical championships and identical belts really diluted the product. One other change I would make is allow the US and InT title holder the (storyline) option of vacating their title in order to be declared the #1 contender. This would allow for quick unplanned title changes that would at least have the air of legitimacy
