John Rahm normally hits a fade but when he wants to chnge in to a draw he uses timing in a very simple clever way. Maybe it can help you too.
Let me help you get a effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook.
Long and straight is every ones goal but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.
Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Watching this reminded me that the great Canadian golfer Moe Norman did this as well, on all his shots…and hit them pretty much dead straight, hence his nickname “ Pipeline Moe “. Thanks Marcus for sharing..MikeR. 🇨🇦

@@bryanburnett3221 Marcus can answer better than me, but I'd advise to check out his previous videos, yes, early release, draw based, which suits me best, as most of the holes at my home course favor a draw, especially of the tee, although i can fade it easily if required

@@bryanburnett3221 Hi Brian. Many golf instructors can teach you to hit a draw. The difference is that I think that our hands are the key to success and not your body. So there is no name for it other than it produces a ball flight called ”Draw”. Swingpath inside to out and close to a two plane swing. I hope you will find someone to help you if my videos don't help.

Hello Marcus- This video hits the "Nail" (golf ball) on the head. An instructor by the name of Jimmy Ballard taught a similar move that you explained, and called it "Springing the Club head from the top" so it has a chance to square up at the ball for a straight shot. He coached Curtis Strange in the 80's and he won 2 US opens back to back. Love your videos, best ever on the planet.

Love your channel and love your concept! I have been doing it for almost a year now with great results. Hitting it so much more solidly now. What is your feeling on transition? Would you say you have a pause or is that not something you focus on? Cheers and thanks!
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
Hi Mike. Sometimes it feels like a pause but when I watch it on video there are no pause. Maybe it's just a mental reload at the top but I don't know. In all the 500+ videos I have made I haven't seen any pause at transition...

I noticed you talk about early release for driver compared to irons. Is your trail wrist still bent away from the target at impact for driver like it is for irons, or it it already “released” and it is straight (or wherever it is) and that’s what you mean by early release? If so, then I guess that is because they release just before the low point which is before the ball for driver and after the ball for irons? Do I have that correct?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 9 месяцев назад
Rick, you are correct. The wrist release is the big difference to impact to control if we are hitting up or down. 👍

Hi Marcus, would you be looking at the grass behind the ball where you want to release or would you be looking at the golf ball? Thanks for all your help
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 11 месяцев назад
I still watch in the balls direction. I look at the grass just in front of the ball hitting irons and more at the ball hitting driver.

What is your weight distribution in setup and during contact, more on the rear foot or 50/50? Thanks.
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
Hi Bill. I can't give you an exact percentage but it's mostly 50/50 at set up but more in front at impact with irons and more in back at impact with driver. 👍

I hit with around 8 degrees inside-out swing path but it seems I have to have a open blade at impact. 🤔 Otherwise it goes to much to the left 🤔 Do you hit with a square blade at impact .?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 7 месяцев назад
To hit a draw we all need to have a little open face at impact, about half of the angle we swing from the inside.

I find it impossible to accomplish this method with the ball teed so very high. Should work at lower height as well, right?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
The whole point of it is to get an early low point and that combined with allow tee is useless. If you don't want to hit up on the ball you can use a lower tee and make it work.

It’s probably because the scoop starts to eearly or the swing path is out to in. Is it the same with all clubs?
