@@bigdeano162000 I ended up taking my back. Never got it to link to the internet even after waiting days. Still using my manual thermostat. I just couldn’t be bothered after struggling for days. I have Virgin media which I mesh to a Netgear Orbi system. I knew the network was fine but the Hive just didn’t want to know. I almost got a replacement to see if the hub was broken but didn’t fancy wasting any more time on it. Good luck with yours dude.
That is true. I went threw same problem. I got impatient and restarted it. Then long time nothing happened. What worked for me was. I used hiv app to run diagnosis which fixed the problem in about 12min. 1. Run hiv app it will take about 10min but will connect you with hiv
I had this problem and hive support had me resetting the thermostat, restarting the boiler, everything connected to hive. Got it working but the instructions certainly didn't help with this
Called hive up and they said take power out and wait 10 seconds, then put back in and out fast and wait 10 seconds again and to repeat this 5 times, leaving the power plugged on on the 6th time, and they say after a magic 1 hour period it will sort it’s self out, well it’s been 12 hours and it’s still flashing red/amber/red/amber in sequence, and my house is fully automated with full lights and plugs, Alexa and the list goes on, so I’ve spent a hundreds if not a few grand to have a system that I can’t control
Ahh I waited patiently probably near enough up to an hour till just keeps flashing green fast randomly it slowed down flashed red once and then the green flashes again
Mine has a solid green light and then a flashing yellow light. It won't connect even tho the ID is entered correctly and my wifi is working just fine and the cables are all plugged in. It just says check connection and ID
@@cristal7700 nothing i just gave up 😆 i wanted it so I can control the lights on and off but I just ended up buying some smart bulbs from Walmart. They have a number you can call if you haven't tried that.
