bettabgood Thank you, my only recommendation is to make the cut a little higher to prevent it from falling thru the side if u have alot of stuff in there.
Huge question for you do you have any issues with the top going into the kayak because it is so flexible? I know the hobie insert has a lip. Have you had any issues because there is no lip? Also do you think you could use a heat gun to make that lip
I never had any issues with it .... It was super flexible and would sometimes move around but it still kept everything together inside the kayak. I haven't used it in years since I sold the outback and have a Predator PDL now.
@@build.drive.fish. gotcha I just Got the outback thought that might be the perfect spot to put my electronics because I hardly ever use the front hatch for much of anything
@@build.drive.fish. just maybe some deck lights I get on the water before dawn and a fish finder. I don’t like the idea of having stuff just kinda in the haul of the boat. I fish salt water and if a drop of saltwater got in the boat corrosion everywhere
