Holley's Are Expensive, Build Your Own!

Build Something

In today's video I build my own electronic dashboard. Haltech and Holley digital dashboards are expensive so I made one myself. I used an Arduino and a Nextion touchscreen display. The Arduino gives a tachometer signal as well as reading fuel pressure. In the future it will also display digital gauges for boost pressure, intake air temperature, and more.
Now get out there and build something!

Perhaps the day will come when more people see this. Been following since the start. Awesome build bro.

Im simple minded so when you were talking about needing to convert 0.8 volts to 5 volts i was like “so like a tiny relay… use 0.8 volts to close a circuit that sends 5 volts” 😂 I enjoy your content

This is incredible and next level building! To be able to learn all this new to you information so fast and be able the retain it enough to make a video teaching us is nuts! I love this channel

Great video man! I never really understood transitors until now. Glad to see you haven't given up on the project. I was throughly disappointed when she died on the road. If I remember correctly, my 96 cummins was supposed to be a minimum of 15psi at idle. And around 25+psi at 1800 rpm no load. If you pinch off your return line, you should see a fuel pressure spike. If not, then your lift pump is weak. If the pressure does spike but FP is low, with the return circuit open, then you have a bad overflow valve. Hope this helps!

Thats good advice, thank you Nolan. And thanks for sticking around for more videos! Im glad the explanation was helpful. Im hoping therell be more driving videos here coming up once I have it a little more winter ready 😂

Keep it up! It only gets better your build as you add more to it. Watcher since the beginning of your build. I also have a build of my own. It's a bronco 2 1985 where I am doing customer wiring and electrical solutions of my own but no engine swap. The car runs and drives perfectly I only need to put a great code of paint to it.

Another amazing and very informative video! You claim that electric design is not your forte, but your explanation of how a transistor circuit works, and how you utilize it for the tach tells me that you're a lot more knowledgeable than most. Great video series! Always looking forward to the next one.
