@@TmanTheTdog I stopped reading the Boys awhile ago. Couldn't stomach it any further. Especially after HL blowjob killed someone in gross detail. Don't hate me, please.
@@cpt.jackfrost Now that i didn't know that, but i have to guess that the compound V amplifies his powers but also has secondary effects and consequences, am i right?
Gotta love how casual everyone's being about the fact that A-Train ran through Hugh's girlfriend. As if that isn't a justifiable reason to want some superheroes dead.
They consider themselves a level above normal humans. Their as casual about killing people as a group of normal people would be if one mentioned they stepped on an ant by mistake.
The fact that everyone is so casual about A-Train killing someone accidentally tells you that it's a terribly common occurence for stuff like that to happen, amongst all of them even. They just had it easy in it all being covered up with contracts and payments by their sponsering company. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their 'villains' came from wanting vengeance for their loved ones like Hughie does.
Well. Do you mourn when you kill flies or ants or some insects while youre walking? I and most people dont care about the life of a random insect. Similar applies to the supes in the show, they see humans ressembling insects. They are sure that humans can not do sth to them as real-life humans are not afraid of some grieving insect hurting them for revenge. That justifies that noone cares about any damage to the humans in the show. Actually the story is about a group of "insects" wanting revenge from supes in the show. Well, thats sth I wouldnt like lol
@@ggm000 Those are diferent scenarions, we aren't killing something of equal size, we aren't killing someone of the same species, its ultimately just another fly that you won't even recognize an hour later. Homelander is killing humans, no matter how strong he is, he shares their biological Size and Anatomy.
@@kinghades3356 Well it's kinda philosophical but I don't think Homelander and many supes would identify themselves as human. They have much more physical and mental abilities. I get the question is how much change would make someone inhumane and I think that having an impenetrable skin and the ability to make much more than any natural human can do makes them feel like they are kinda a seperate species. They're called Supes and not human for example to specify that point. Again, this is controversial and this is my take. This is not sth clear from the show.
@@valoredramack9117 huh? More like for himself.. remember when he gave the file to hughie about stormfront? He said now we're even .. but in reality if he didn't do that then stormfront would've done something to get him out of the seven cuz of just being black and dunno what else.. she was a nazi ffs.. he was already kicked out at that moment but after that he was brought back with the help of the fresca guy.. Plus he says that he felt bad/apologised for the Robin incident but he can't bother to remember the face of the guy he's apologising to, so what's the meaning behind the "sorry"? Even with popclaw, he claims to love her but once he finds out she did something behind his back, he doesn't believe her even once, keeps lying to her , plus .. kills her..
In the comics, a-train was basically the deep. Dude assaulted starlight (along with black noir and homelander), was a punk when he got owned by homelander, and was such a crybaby when butcher tied him up and tried to get hughie to kill him (in the comics, compound v gave the boys powers).
@@HenshinHeroesMedia And in the comics The Deep was as silent as Black Noir and did pretty much nothing And was like physically the largest out of them
@@lukashawley2133 because he's not homelander lol. He doesn't have the same powers. He's not bulletproof. Can't fly. And got overpowered by queen Maeve
@@ahamedjunaid01 spoilers Also I may not remember that clearly In one plus one equals two, the episode Canon to this tv series homelander, who’s the new superhero in that episode is partnered with black noir for one of his earliest missions. Homelander kills both the bad and the good guys in a fit of rage sort of half by accident and partly due to him just being reckless and thinks noir is gonna stop him and they have a scuffle. Then noir kills the last witness and writes a cover up for homelander to cover up what really happened.
If you wonder why homelander treats noir like a homie unlike the other seven members go watch the boys diabolical which is a prequel to the show. It explains why homelander favors noir more than anyone. Also even if homelander wanted to kill him he'd have a hard time. In diabolical homelander got pissed at noir and tried to kill him but noir just casually got away from him Everytime with little effort.
So I guess it was convenient for homelander to leave out Butcher and the fact homelander was the whole cause by raping his wife. He failed to mention that.
Becca literally said to Homelander "You don't get to say that not after what you DID to me!" She never says it out right but its very obvious she was raped given her reaction to encountering Homelander again. She also knew as long as she had Ryan Homelander would never leave her alone so she left so she wouldn't have to watch Billy get ripped in half or watch Homelander slowly remove Ryan's humanity from him.
Complete hypocrisy is part of his psychological makeup. I think by this point he'd already covered up getting all the passengers on a plane killed, and he assassinated a Congressman, the Congressman's son, and everyone else on a different flight when he blew up the plane with his heat vision. So he's already a mass murderer by this point....
Love how out of all the seven. Noir is the only one to have succeeded in all missions with the exception of killing Starlight only because of Maeve’s assistance
Yeah lol. The disappointment he has in A-Train is unparalleled. The Deep he thinks is a joke because he is. A-Train is the son that has really good potential but fucks it up every chance he gets lol
this scene shows that not only is Homelander sadistic and invincible, he's also pretty smart. From just some random disconnected scraps of information he was able to correctly deduce who Hughie is, what he did, what his motivations were, and who was helping him where no one else was
Came here to look for this comment, he pretty much pieced together the entire thing the second he Mesmer gave him those images of them. Might be be pure evil, but he was very intelligent.
I think Noir just knew how to play the game better now. His mistake with Soldier Boy was defying and challenging him. With Homelander he made sure to stay on his good side
I hate a train more than homelander. Negative one million accountability and maxed out entitlement makes for the least likable combination in any organism haha
@@francargeric1 it gives me hope about him getting a redemption arc or something so we get to see him finally truly apologize to Hugh ur for what he did, but if that never happens fuck him he can die
@@SonplaysMinEcraft What he did is the supes equivalent of a DUI with hit and run that resulted in manslaughter. The worst isnt what he did, but how it didnt affect him one bit.
It's not that he's a better boss he just got along with him better compared to Soldier Boy He's the embodiment of "do as I say and everything would work out for you"
Good leader? He talks about Hughie like he is in the wrong. Hughie wanting to kill these sups is completely justified by them being assholes that kill humans and not caring. There are only a couple good sups like StarLight and Maeve(Maeve isn’t perfect but she isn’t evil).
What makes u think Homelander fears Black Noir? When has that ever been stated? It feels more like respect rather than fear. And knowing Homelander, his ego wouldn't allow it.
Homelander thought five was bad, imagine his reaction to the team's status at the end of season 3. The Seven are now down to The Three. Homelander, The Deep and A-Train. Statuses of the other members: Translucent: in pieces Starlight: quit. Part of The Boys now. Queen Maeve: powerless. Away with Elena. Black Noir: eviscerated
@@a-trainmr.fleetfeet2189 she actually faked her death to finally enjoy her life with her girlfriend and be free of Homelander and corp bullshit. Ashley actually discovers it, but then erases all evidence
What makes A-Train more despicable than Homelander is that Homelander acts the way he does because he had no loved ones to support him at all, but A-Train had his brother to support him but he’s too entitled and selfish to even consider how his brother feels about his actions. Not only that but he’s done a lot of bad things like Homelander has.
I like how when A-Train remembers Hughie it isn't anything about killing Robin or even the apology meeting. It's literally just about when he saw him outside of Popclaw's apartment
Black noir is probably the most perfect out of the supes tbh. No psychopathic tendencies or controversies. Just gets the job done without extra fuss and bias
@@bendikok6619 dude litereally R*pes people rips people limb from limb in the comics. He is white in the comics because he was meant to be a clone of homelander. It doesnt change that every character in the boys is bad in their own way... you arent supposed to like them also i'm a big fan of this season so dont assume i havent watched it.They turned black noir into comic relief because hes done alot of fucked up things in the comics.
Watching back at Season 1 and a scene like this...you can really see how much Homelander lost it over the seasons. Here (and the following after) he is almost reasonable...of course you would threaten someone who seems to be out there to get you and your team. Compare that to season 3...oh boy...
0:56 This is one of Homelander's secret powers. The ability to go tsktsktsktsktsktsktsktsk with intense speed. Seriously though it is hard to do that for me. I can't.
God Damn watching Season 3 I miss the Se7en having meetings in Vought Tower, when Homelander still exerted influence and power over them and tense atmosphere, its like war could break out any second
Have you watched the 4th episode yet? It's more intense than ever now. I won't spoil it here. I'll just say Homelander has nothing holding him back now
