This recipe is amazing. Very easy to do and you get top biryani. I've done it 4 times now and I have memorised the recipe. BTW: I don't use food colouring, instead I add a small amount of turmeric to boiling water with rice and that gives very nice yellow rice colour.
Wow Stan, you've memerised the recipe! 😲 it's such a fantastic recipe too! If you prefer turmeric that colours your rice then thats perfectly fine. Adapt my recipes to suit you! Happy Eating 😊
My absolute go to reciepe! I've made this over and over and it's perfect everytime. Thank you for easy to follow, delicious and great explained reciepe.

Hey! just want to say, i made this yesterday and it was seriously good! my whole family loved it, thank you so much for sharing - excited for more recipes from you! :-)
Made this last night... What an amazing biryani ! My girlfriend reckoned it was better than any she had ever had in a restaurant or takeaway, so many thanks for sharing this with us 😊. Took me aot longer than 15 minutes to reduce the liquid but I think that is because I was pretty nervous about turning the heat right up and catching the bottom of the pan. Worked out nicely in the end though and only added around 20 extra minutes. Can't wait to try some of your other recipes !
Hi Mark, thank you for your comment. Super pleased to hear you both enjoyed this dish! Restaurants and takeaways often do not have the time to cook such dishes if I'm honest. It's such a fast paced environment.. but I'm happy you guys tried the recipe at home and really appreciated it 😊👍
Thank you so much for this recipe. I'm not versed in indian cuisine at all and I'm amazed I was able to make something you'd get at the store with my own hands
Thank you for sharing your recipes. I love them as is so easy to learn how to cook for my husband. He’s from Pakistan and I’m from Romania so is quite challenging to cook but thanks to you became so easy . You are amazing 😍😍😍😍
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes tried chicken drumsticks.. yummy thanku, would prefer the lamb one but that's only because I prefer lamb in general really. Thanks x
It's wonderful to see you cook those beautiful dishes. I do a lot of cooking myself, and I really love doing it. Thanks for the many recipes. I will definitely try the lamb with the rice. Thanks again. Cheers, Anthony
Finally a recipe I can follow. Can you please list ingredients in the order that you use them, just makes it a little easier to follow (maybe its my OCD?). Cant wait to go Pakistan and try making it there and see what they think.

Hello - finally got round to making this last night , just as good as you said it was! The flavours are amazing! Quick Q , The first bhuna stage, your desc says 10-15min took about an hour for me? Doesn’t matter mind. I used full fat yogurt- does that make a diff? Thanks again 😀
Hi Graham, super pleased to hear you enjoyed this wo derful dish! My mouth has started watering as I type.. lol My heat setting was on high and yes it may have been the extra water realised by the full fat yoghurt. Like you say doesnt really matter, as what does is the end product 😊👍
Nice! Love trying new Biryani. We also make a layered biryani in South Africa and use sour milk instead of yogurt. Saffron is essential in Mums recipe and marinate the Lamb overnight. Will be trying your recipe, it looks delicious. Masha Allah!!!
Thank you so much for your comment 😊 Just goes to show, there is so much similarity across the globe when cooking. JazakAllah and I hope you enjoy my version 🥰

Oh My Lord... LOL!! 🤣🤣 Paaye coming soon In sha Allah! I've got it scheduled in for around two weeks... let the countdown begin! 14, 13, 12... and so on!
No pressure then. I’ll keep the window to qualify as a ‘Jedi’ open slightly longer, just for you then dear. (Amee, how do you make Paaye??? I need some help here) Just a thought running free. lol. No pressure. 😜
Hi sis love this recipe, I’d like to ask can we layer this biryani or would you recommend putting all the rice on top of the curry just as you’ve done and then mixing it at the end?
Could you, would you add the food colouring to the Rice while it was finishing and before draining? Doug from Down Under, in Australia. Absolutely love your channel and am watching ALL your recipes.
In the video it doesn't look like you use 1kg of lamb. It looks more likely 0.5kg. So I am a bit confused as what I see does not match what you listed in the recipe. Could you clarify please ? BTW: I have bought diced lamb. How long do you recommend to marinade ?
Hi Stan, I've definitely used 1kg of Lamb on the bone. I guess maybe it seems to look like its half a kg is because the meat peices are quite chunky! Minimum marination 30mins, obviously the longer the better! Hope this helps 😊
Interesting name Shamzah, very close to mine. Made the lamb Biryani yesterday in Wellington, New Zealand, it was easy to make, wonderful and very tasty indeed. I have a pictures that I would love to send you. Hope to make a few of your other dishes. ❤️😎
Greetings from across the pond Hamzah, my nephew and you share the same name 😊👍 I would love to see pictures of my recipes that you have cooked up. Baji, Lovely cooking. I tried your technique my self as My pakistani wife (UK born) is hopeless at cooking. Only request is to use the word fragrance instead of smell. The fragrance of this cooking is brilliant. Smell word is always used for negative or foul aroma.
The word SMELL is actually a neutral word and whether it’s negative or positive depends on the adjective you use with it. For example, beautiful smell, lovely smell. Or, awful smell, horrible smell. positive
