As a black woman, I think what pissed me off about the Kamaro show is that Kamaro intentionally brought a white woman on the show to push a certain narrative that it might be a racially motivated criticism of the pink sauce. There were black women who criticized the sauce but Kamaro knows that no black woman would have tolerated the disrespect on the show and it wouldn't have heightened the profile of the talk show episode and talk show overall. To be honest, as a fervent watcher of Fab 5, I was so disappointed by that debacle and it made me realize that Kamaro is a hack and even worse, a capitalist hack. Me too! I cannot believe that happened! Food poisoning isn't a joke or an inconvenience. It can be fatal. People die from botulism, people have died from e.coli, listeria can be severe if you get it while pregnant. Any form can be fatal to someone who's immunocompromised. What if someone let their kids try it? That's why she didn't just message her privately, because people needed to know! People who might have bought it or be thinking about buying it needed to know because it's not just "yeah I ordered these homemade earrings from your Etsy shop and they arrived broken" it was a public health risk. To everyone asking why each bottle has a different color sauce: One of the main ingredients is dragon fruit. Dragon fruit can be pink or white on the inside. I assume they didn't care about the color of the fruit when they were making the sauce, so they were just like "fuck it we ball"

So true, I had a friend back in high school and her kitchen was ridiculously filthy like full on dirt on the countertops and everything. Her baking trays were always thick with grease and old foods and the drying rack next to the sink was always so stagnant. As someone who worked at a USPS processing warehouse and handled/sorted the kind of packages the Pink Sauce was shipped in, that is the wrong thing to ship a bottle of sauce in. Unless it is heavy as hell and/or says fragile, those packages are NOT handled gently. We have so many to sort at a time that unless we cant, the package is usually tossed into the correct shipping bin. We dont have the time to make sure a package that isnt saying to be handled with care IS handled with care. She should have put the sauces in actual shipping boxes and bubble wrapped like crazy on the inside.
If anyone wants a recipe for pink sauce that is legitimately delicious, I recommend raita. Raita is a traditional Indian dish made with yoghurt, various spices, and sometimes diced vegetables (I like it best with chilis and beet). The pink version requires the beet for the iconic pink color. It takes like 10 minutes to make enough for several days.
as someone from south america (were we largely consume powder milk) powder milk NEEDS to stay in powder form to not go bad. When you mix it with anything liquid in becomes milk and it will go bad. Thats why you see powder milk in powder stuff like soup packets, ya know, POWDER STUFF not stuff like this.

Yeah. There's a lot of shelf stable ingredients that become no longer shelf stable when mixed with something. For example, to make homemade bisquick mix (American thing, it's a baking mix), you only need shelf stable ingredients. However, you still need to refrigerate it because of the reactions the ingredients have when they come in contact. How do people not do an ounce of research when they are thinking of selling these things. It makes small business owners who actually carefully plan everything, look bad.
