Thank you for this video. It is inspiring and also realistic. Your channel has become one of my favorite Homeschool channels to go to for advice, uplifting content, and a dose of gentle reality. There are a lot of other RU-vid channels that display such high levels of expectation and altered reality that sometimes can leave the everyday momma (me) feeling deflated and not enough. Your videos inspire me to be my best without hating on myself. You roll with it when your kids are simply kids-while you do yoga, your hair, or just go about life. This is such a breath of fresh air; because my kids are always there LOL. Yoga is not a zen moment with wind chimes in my house haha. My kids are always silly in the background, like yours, and my middle child is constantly telling me “truths” as he calls them about my looks. Haha. So I love that you don’t edit the reality out. You show the expectation and the reality, and to me that makes you relatable. So thank you so much for being who you are, being real, and putting out beautiful content. You seem like a fantastic human and mom.

@@PursuingPeace I do the same thing with yoga, meditate on the grace of God. I give thanks for my body and for my health. As a massage therapist, I see so many people (young and old) who are tense and have lost almost all flexibility. The many forms of yoga are excellent at giving our bodies love and care without abuse on our joints. Our bodies can age well if we feed them well and care for them.
I was about to mention the same thing about yoga. My husband used to be a yoga instructor until he was born again in christ. and he realized it is not what some think it is. Every pose, stretch has a meaning to idols we shouldn't be worship.. It gets really deep. Look more into it. Not condemning you or judging. Like my husband he wasn't aware until he gave his life to christ. God bless

Thank you thank you for sharing! I just started kindergarten homeschool with my almost 5 year old. We are also transitionong fromna challenging work schedule for my husband to a more "normal" one. I am trying tonsee what our mornings could look like.
"Now you look normal"🤣 I rarely wear makeup now and the last time I had it on my 7yr old told me I looked weird. That's when I realized how little I put it on.
"I looks creepy"! I love it!! HAHAHA reminds me so much of my daughter (almost 3). when I am "done up" my hair is not "creepy" and I have makeup on, she says "oh la la mami, you took a shower" but when I have done nothing with myself she doesn't even acknowledge me hahahah BTW your laugh is SO contagious. the whole time I'm watching your video I'm sitting here smiling at you like if you're talking to me. LOL
I just put together a huge tot school binder for my 3 year old. So much velcro and laminating, lol. She's sort of "meh" about it but we will grow into it hopefully plus she's singing that CC memory work all day too. Loved seeing your morning! Bless yall!

Your channel is so encouraging! I have an almost 7 year old, 5, 2, and 8 months. We moved our family across the country a few months ago so this has been a bit of an overwhelming season. Love that you start your day putting the Lord first. Thank you for that reminder. Your kiddos are so precious :)

I found your channel and have been trying to watch videos while doing dishes or squeezing them in when I have a moment. I would love a night time routine! Seeing how you prepare for the next day and dinner clean up, bed time routines ect. Also, I love your cleaning routine! It makes so much sense! After adding our 4th baby in June and moving in December my old routine isn't cutting it. I love how you set a time and do what you can do in those minutes. My question is, when do you do a deeper clean (like vacuum & mop?) I feel like those take so long to do. 😬
Hi Rachel! That's a great idea! I will definitely put a night time routine on my video list! 😉❤ I vacuum on Saturdays and mop on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. But for Christmas my husband got me a cleaning service that comes every 2 weeks. It's been AMAZING!!!!! I still do my routines but it's been nice to know my house will definitely be cleaned every 2 weeks. ❤🙌

You, Jamie, and Christie have inspired me in so many ways!❤ I had to laugh at your kids' responses on makeup and hair🤣 I hardly wear makeup and my hair is in a pony tail, messy bun, or top knot 95% of the time! My son used to insist that I put it in a pony tail when I returned home from work (when I worked out of the home) so I would look like mommy.🤣

Aren’t those notes from your littles so adorable? My oldest writes me letters. I’m thinking of scanning them and printing out a book as a keepsake. I get you on that thick hair! I decided to grow mine out and I’m so close to just cutting it again 😅 I also only brush it if it looks or feels super tangled 😅😅
Your morning routine looks so nice! I have one kid in private school this year and homeschooling my second so our mornings are rushed with trying to get her to to school 12 miles away and then hurry home for school!

It's so strange how different our routines are! My 1 1/2 year old boy is stuck to me from the moment I wake up until the moment I lay down. My other 2 were like that as well. So getting up before my kids has always been a huge flop lol And we always start the day with breakfast.

Oh my gosh! "Creepy" is the word of the month with my kids. Everything is creepy. Haha! I love the concept of flexibility within a framework. We have key things throughout the day that have to be done at that time, but everything else can be worked around those which gives us the flexibility that we need. :)
@@PursuingPeace Ummmm can I put apple juice in the cup or does the lid not seal? My 3 year old daughter is constantly asking why my coffee is for mommy and daddy only.

Thank you, it is very uplifting. I don't like comb hair, but my youngest is insistent that I make a pony tail for her, she is 23 months old. You are amazing mom!!! Please tell me where do you get your energy to keep going through the day, do you take some supplements for energy boost, or tea? Do you do siesta around 1 or 2 pm? New sub here.
