Have been owning this bike for a year now. I love everything about the bike except for its exhaust. The build quality is premium and refinement is very good. I get 30-35/L in city and 40-45/L on highways.
Bro do you sing? I am asking this for a reason. Your vocal is unique. Very identifiable. The moment you make a sound, people can tell it's Strell. Just as when any popular singer sings, people could tell who the singer is from what they hear. Unique voice is really important in song business.
Great, search & ping me in FB, I can join you in the CB300R WhatsApp group, where all around India owners are available, btw I own this bike for year & have ridden 7.5k kms.
after coming from FZ-S 2.0 150cc, i am in need of more powerful bike which one should you think i should consider as a pre owned bike Husqvana Svartpilen 250 or Honda CB-300 P.S. I am keeping the FZ-S as well
Even though the tank capacity is mentioned as 10L on the website, it can actually hold 11.5L+ for those long rides when there are less fuel stations around. I'm getting a mileage of 32kmpl in the city when riding sedately. On highway it drops down to 28kmpl when ridden between 100-120km mainly because of high wind blast. I also keep the cold tyre pressures at 24psi during summers because of bad roads and stiffer suspension. That is another factor for low mileage. In 6th gear at speeds between 60-80kmph, its capable of giving 36kmpl, but its difficult to keep myself from thrashing the engine around now and then😅
This bike is with me , for more then 20 months now, amazing light weight nimble compact bike, power is 30 BHP, much more then Himalaya or RE 350, KTM200, but the most important feature is amazing mileage of 40 plus kmpl and and refined engine performance, probably the most refined engine in India in single cylinder 300 CC category.
It's coming back with bs6 engine in January. The bs4 bike price in Pune was ₹ 2.72 lacs on road and it may be 10k more once relaunched. An absolutely brilliant bike and I am completely sold for the way it rides
Highly recommend chain and rear sprocket replacement for the CB300R. I have replaced my OEM chain/R.sprocket with a DID 520VX3 chain and JT steel oem tooth sprocket. Bike is smoother, more quiet, and so much better at all RPM for response and smoothness. Also K&N filter for intake, huge difference across entire powerband but REALLY helpful for smooth throttle input at low speed. OEM rear sprocket has a metal ring guard around it. The teeth are thinner as a result, and this ring + the teeth make a LOT of noise. Stock chain binds and clinks a lot too..and is heavy. I'm upgrading the front brake disc to EBC, and pads as well soon. Also recommend the Luimoto seat covers. Brilliant for more comfort and much better look.
@@krishnachaitanya4563 I am not a rough rider, I decently ride it with no sudden acceleration and braking. so Im getting mileage around 40 kmpl in highways, 37 in city traffic (tier 2 city)
Sir please make a video on comparison between Cb 350 vs meteor 350 about 1. Metropolitan city used(bumper to bumper traffic) 2. Touring review 3. Clutch hardness 4. Gear box along with gear ratio 5. Power band( your review on mt 15 top end power lack is so true so. I need to hear their power spread from low to top) 6. Ride quality 7.ride feel. 8. Headlight throw at night. Thank you

What will you suggest top 3 bikes to replace himalayan 2017 bs4 under lakhs, i am bored of this bike and i want a light touring bike, 80 percent highways 20 % offroads, I am not too tall 5'4" (162cm), i want something light and agile and peppy
Honda should plonk this engine into an ADV style bike, An Africa 300 will be awesome. Perfect tourer for India as well plush for city rides where roads are not good. Dream Machine!
Bud, it is 2021 now . WHy don't you try and use the new features & tools on youtube ? Try to segment your videos so your viewers can switch to the part they want. I wish I could do that.
@@godblessmagizh that sounds exciting, never had any experience with this bike but if honda launches as per indian norms, it would be blessing for indian riders.
Hi strell , am confused between rr310 and duke 390... Pillion comfort is kinda important for me... For touring... RR's advantage over mileage and the visor might make it a better tourer... But considering the pillion comfort..am confused... Pls give me Ur opinion... Which is better for city and touring...for 2 people... 🙏🏼 Thanks in advance
@@godblessmagizh if tht the case, then this bike will have price cuts, if they priced between 2 to 2.1 lk of gixxer 250/dominor price, this bike will be hit, btw share ur expereince on this bike
This is an amazing motorcycle but the 2020 bmw g310r launched at 2.45 ex showroom, it will face a good competition if Honda decides to launch it again as g310r offers similar characteristics with more power and electronics
Bro, definitely CB300R as this got more power, BS6 version, made in India bike is going to be launched, is what I heard, I own this bike for year & have ridden 7.5k kms, with a reduced price.
Can you please compare it with a Husqvarna vitpelion there noo such video on RU-vid I'm confused between the two . Pleaseeeee make that first ever video .
Being a CB300R owner, I feel so lucky to have her in my life. There just isn’t anything like this in our roads. Even D390 owners have told me how they would love to switch the bike with me. Honda should really bring the BS6 version to India.
I really love your videos - very crisp and informative!!! 💯💯❤️❤️ I had a request (and I know you probably get all this a lot but) - could you please review the BS6 Kawasaki Versys 650? 😅 That is one motorcycle I'd love to see your perspective on!!!
I am a beginner rider and find neo retro designs really appealing. I don't like sports bikes. I can ride something like a Splendor easily and generally I keep my speeds below 80. Do you think this bike will be really intimidating to handle? I was considering meteor but discarded it because of the weight. I am 67kg 5' 7". If not this then probably I have no other option in the retro space unless Yamaha gets the xsr155 to India. I may well end up with Fz-X which is on the line for release. Nice review as usual.
The best part is I find this bike easier to ride than even spendor or activa. Totally beginner friendly. Even when I ride above 100kmph it feels pretty grounded. Gem of a machine.
@strell I do remember you add a post that a new video for Apache RTR 160 4v coming in eve but deleted that post after some hours. Still waiting for thay video 🥺 Love from Jaipur ❤️
I think yesterday you upload photo with rtr 160 so I am waiting later post was deleted. I confuse that was rtr 160 or this Honda one.I think that was Rtr
@@ShubhamSharma-wj8tw Yes there is a news BS6 version, made in India will be launched as this model has got a great response, that all bikes in CKD units are sold out... Btw I own this bike for year & have ridden 7.5k kms.
Bro can you please do a review of the BS6 BMW G310R? I'm planning to buy it next year and would really like your opinion on the bike. Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
@@Vikesh7896 Since I'm not looking to race with my bike, I don't care about which one is quicker. Also, a premium and well built machine is exactly what I'm looking for. The CB300 has a plastic tank! And lots of other plasticky bits. Doesn't really compare to BMW's build quality. And vibes? The new model has significantly lower vibes plus it's a single cylinder so there will always be some amount of vibes. Expensive to maintain? Depends on what you call expensive. For me, a major service every 10,000 km that costs around 6 - 7k INR is perfectly fine and I can do the minor maintenance work (chain tightening, lubing, engine oil change etc.) by myself.
Strell... Why don't you do a review on comparing the touring bikes for their value for money. These days there are a lot of options and it is quite confusing to choose.
Hey brother, do let me know if you want to sell it 🙂 I love this bike and I'm tired of waiting for the BS6 version. Was hoping that CB350RS would look like this but sadly it doesn't. Thank you!
