I have a question. I have 2010 Honda Civic and I lost my key. so I went to junk yard got me 2007 Honda Civic the ECM, the key and the completed ignation and the housing. I replace all those but my car still turn on then off on off not stay on. what else do I need to completed that I dont have to program the ECU or the key? May be the PCM or what else or no matter what do I still have to program them? Please help! Thank you!
Thank you fella. You're absolutely right. Kinda annoying when your own car refuses point blank to let you fire it up. Certainly with a 2006 - 2011 a European Civic, if the green key won't go away, it needs setting up again and usually keys re-added to system. I wouldn't advise going to Honda as it'll cost you a fortune and for most people, more than the car is worth. Peace brother.
Can anti theft system can be triggered by trying to remove radio without tools, now my car wont keep running for more than half second. How do i fix that?
Had the same issue on my honda civic 2007 hatchback. A guy came and did similar actions on his obd diagnostics and then the keys were recognized again. The problem was i think triggered by removing the battery overnight to put it on the charger. I hope next time when i have to replace the battery the error is not triggered again.. what does Loc mean with "hv the software"? Thanks for the vid.
An update Sir. You were absolutely right! I'm grateful to you for posting this. The only correct solution amongst many suggestions from others on YT, Ignore the stupid comments - your video saved me here in the UK. Heres how it went: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-koK84SHNOH0.html
