Incredible driving, no crazy risk taking just excellent eye - dealing with inexperienced drivers when overtaking them is probably the most challenging. Fantastic.
I have a fk8 model.. only race car in this category. And the look is amazing compare with others concurrents... and it.s a very convenient car ang very polyvalent!
Specially when the vtec kicks in it goes to 272kmh no other fwd goes as fast as honda the engine is a totally different beast more than renault's per example
@@supposedly6991 if you didn't see any understeer then you don't know what understeer is. The front wheels were overwhelmed plenty of times just not for extended periods.
People complain about some nonsense stuff sometimes. "Meemeeemee! Sounds like a hairdryer! Meemeemee!" The effing hairdryer took the Flughplatz at 180km/h with FWD, for crying out loud! I wish I had a hairdryer like that.
well done, if I were anywhere near there I would have taken my Type R as well, it's a perfect car for this situation! I've taken mine to my local tracks, it's always a lot of fun.
@@tomasmalin I'd say the old megane 3 rs could be really proud of what it was. Considering you're comparing a 10+ year old with new civic, I'd say it did it's job wonderfully.

I cant belive how fast this car can pass thru the corners.Also I would not have the balls to drive so agresive,respect for the driver.Thats when you think you are exelent driver and then you watch this video you realize that you are not. :-)
Great Lap, brilliant drive. You dont have worry about your Car ? Some traffic is dangerous, specially overtaking. The wheels are very good and have a lot of Grip. I have a Type R FK8 and this is my dreamcar and the best hot hatch of the World.
Being a Honda owner myself I've owned a few fast Hondas including two DC5's, one of which I still have. This Civic is a seriously impressive machine, doesn't sound great but fuck me it doesn't half handle; the FK8 would destroy my Integra with some ease. That was some of the best driving I've ever seen too btw. So smooth and not aggressive either, impressive stuff!
Depends on who's driving... Buying a Porsche does not make a good driver ! Look at all those @#&**%! Arab "princes" destroying hyper cars all the time !
It's easy to push a fwd like the Civic, pushing a rwd with rear engine like the Porsche it's not for everyone, it's required much more feel and experience to keep that tail on track and be fast at the same time with the Porsche...
Please do an old school series of these fabulous runs! It would be tremendous if you can start with the original Honda NSX Type R! Then a 993, followed by the amazing McLaren F1, etc...
