Had this problem this week, crank but wouldn't start. After much checking of fuses and relays, I noticed that the engine immobilizer indicator ( a key symbol in the instrument cluster) was not coming one when I put the key in and turned. The immobilizer was not getting power. I replaced a 7.5 amp fuse in the #2 fuse block, and started right up. Not sure why it blew, and will keep an eye on it, but look for the immobilizer light. Don't even have to open the hood.
@@bobgins1497 my car doesn’t crank. It sounds like if it’s a battery problem. I had someone boost me and that did nothing. What could it be? I have a new alternator and battery
@@elperrocovero if it doesn't crank at all with a fresh battery it could be a bad starter, or somewhere in the ignition circuit. Do you even hear a "click" when you turn they key?
Have 2003 honda pliot same one in the I change the injection the relay and it's still doing the same thing I don't know if it's my coil pack I change the spark plugs and it's basically doing the same thing in the video is basically like trying to start but it's not starting I haven't changed the fuel pumps since I got the vehicle
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. IT IS NOT THE FUEL PUMP OR TIMING BELT. THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR ARE NEW AND SO IS THE STARTER. I HAVE 2OO4 HONDA PILOT. WHEN THIS HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING THE CAR AND IT DIED AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT STOP. I RESTARTED IT BUT IT COMPLETELY STOPPED TO RESTART AGAIN IN A FEW MINUTES. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE?
A few years back, I changed my ignition switch because this was happening. I think it's the same thing again. I'm going to replace it again. My pilot has 320,000 miles. I'm pretty sure it's the problem whenever it dies. I hit under the left side of the steering wheel, and it starts again. Amazon is out of ignition switches right now it's a black wire with a brown connector. I hope I have helped you. I'm going to order it tomorrow from O'Reilly s
@@ayearetee3342 I drove my pilot today and when I was driving the car , it seem like it wouldn’t go anymore while the speed wouldn’t go and the VLS lights and gas/battery turned on then I parked the car on the side of the road. I turn the car off then after that I try to start the car it wouldn’t start but it crank as it wants to starts. So now I’m stuck thinking it’s the main relay or key fob/fuse?
What if once in a while my 2012 CRV cranks a bunch and won't start..but if I keep at it, it will eventually start up. Then it doesn't do it again for day or two. it starts up right away on subsequent attempts..... could that mean the fuel pump is starting to fail but still works most of the time?
