Always do like you said and use the same color LED as the lens. If you use only white it will make the lens color look lighter (ex. taillights will shine as pink instead of red). Using the same color LED ensures you get the correct color light.

@@BudgetGears Also if you're looking for a bigger difference between the running lights and brake light brightness, definitely go with the Sylvania Zevo LEDs. By far the best on the market for a good price + lifetime warranty.

@@hiimelvin so should I buy the same Sylviana zevo in red for both the stopping light and brake light? Will using the same bulb still show the difference? Or do I have to get one in white and the other in red?

@@1tride684 yea any light that is normally red you buy red for, so stop/brake lights would use red. Only turn signals would be amber and reverse would be white

I dont like how bright the running lights are in the rear, I feel like there's not enough difference in the running vs pressing the brake light output

I was concerned about that too, but the camera just didn't pick it up well. In person it actually has quite a difference when pressing the brake. For some reason it just doesn't show as well on camera.

Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, etc. Just need to search online. They're available from many sources. Best would probably be Amazon or Ebay.

So is the reverse and rear turn signal 1156? Then brake and stop light 2057? Just want to make sure they are correct before I look into buying the led’s version And for your front corner signals, are they going to flash white now? What headlight bulb you running also?

At the end of the video I list out the bulb sizes as well as how much it cost me. My front corners don't blink. I believe only the US spec EF Civic's blink. Ours in Canada just light up and that's it. I'm just running some cheap 6000k Amazon bulbs for the headlight. I think the size is 9006 or 9005, whichever is the low beam one. I think they're called turbo or something like that, but they were on sale and cheap, which is why I got them. I got them a long time ago and last time I checked, I couldn't find anymore.

Just received it this week and a video will be released on it on Sunday. Its just a universal flasher relay. They're all the same. But you'll see on Sunday.

As mentioned in the video, the headlights were already LED because I swapped them a long time ago.

You can get them anywhere. Amazon, Ebay, local auto parts store, etc. Just need to search the size and you'll have many options.

not a fan of the taillight brightness, little difference between running and brake lights. Also people behind you at night might not be too happy 😅 ALL THE GLARE. I also tried led bulbs last year, but they were garbage. too dim in my case, turn signals too fast and hazards did not work at all. these seem like a much better product

Oh yeah. The brake light and running light difference bothered me too, but its more noticeable in person. The camera shows very little difference, but there's more difference when you see it in person. But definitely not big of a change like halogen. My turn signals are still fast, but that's cause I'm still waiting on a flasher relay. I was hesitant on going LED because I knew it would blink fast and I'd have to change the flasher relay, but the brightness level is so much better. 😁

@@kennyanderson1414 Did you pick the correct bulb size? They have many different bulb selections to choose from. If you did pick correctly, then likely they made a mistake sending you incorrect bulbs.
