Thank you very helpful! This the first time it’s ever happened to me. I use the lane assist option from time to time but not at the time the warning lights popped up. I have a 2020 honda civic sport and turning my car off and back on worked. Thanks for this video!
Hi Brian, just got my car serviced and when i got it back all the amber lights that you have came on. so I cleaned the radar sensor turned it off and back on again and the ACC and lane assist are still on and amber. is there a fault do you think ?

Hey man do you know if you still get this message if the radar has been damaged? Hit a tire shaving this morning pretty hard and it bent my radiator, randomly got the radar obstructed message now and it won’t go away… now I don’t have cruise control. Im assuming it would also give me this message if I damaged the radar huh?
Most likely one of two scenarios, the first one is your radar has been damaged in the event this morning, second scenario, the bracket that holds the radar in place is damaged in the event this morning, best course of action, bring it to a garage to have the check which issue it is, but most likely it’s one of those
Ok unfortunately the camera in your bumper is faulty or has sustained light damage .. you will need to go to the dealer .. sorry I couldn’t help better 😞
I have Honda 67 plate. I have 4 warning lights(Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane keeping assist system and Adaptive cruise control. these functions are not working because of the warning lights. Honda is charging alot because its not under warranty anymore.
@@n3wdayn3wstyl3 Yes, we have only done replacement Radar and camera units, we wouldn’t be able to repair them, usually they malfunction from damage, do you know if there is any damage on the bumper near where the radar sits?? We have had people who have damage on the bumper which has consequently damaged the camera, in many cases the customer didn’t do the damage, it most likely occurred when the car was parked unfortunately!
@@n3wdayn3wstyl3 we have had some units malfunction for no reason as well... It’s an expensive repair also, approximately €1000 in Ireland I believe, the only hope I guess is to maybe find one in a car dismantlers and have it fitted by an independent maybe, might save some money and should solve the problem, other than that all you can do is maybe write a letter to the Honda UK 🇬🇧 direct and see if they can help?
I drove thru some light rain and snows mixed and same thing happen to my Honda HR-V EX but after shutting the engine off and no more obstruction to the radar sensor areas my light still remains on. What's my problem here and are there any suggestion?
The problem I’m having is the lights came on, and I wiped the radars but they’ve still been on for a couple weeks, Honda wants to charge me to diagnose and then to fix the problem not sure if it’s anything else I can do
@@saulteenuttz6308 in that case a couple of points to consider .. is your car under manufacturers warranty still? You shouldn’t be charged to diagnose if it is ... if it’s outside warranty however they can charge you.... secondly then the radar may be damaged, This can happen where something has impacted it at the front, it can either happened for the driver has struck something or in a lot of cases somebody else has struck the front of your car without you knowing, maybe in a car park or something like this, in that case the radar has been damaged and it will need replacement.... the other point is sometimes these radars can actually fail.. the only choice here is to get it diagnosed first by the dealer 🙂👍
Unfortunately , if this doesn't work, you need to go to a Honda garage to have it diagnosed as the camera/radar system can malfunction sometimes ! The only way to know is plug it into a Honda computer !

How bout if coyote hits a car n broke front bumper little bit n cause system issues? I literally did everything like wiping down n all those stuff but nothing worked.. dealer?
In that case I would be 99% sure the radar camera is damaged or the brackets that hold it in place are damaged, Front bumper needs to come off, and then that will expose the camera and the bracket! You probably need to go to a dealer, A Coyote where do you live??? Thank you for watching!
@@ernestdamo677 OK sometimes the camera in the front bumper can get jammed up or if you haven't driven the car since you changed the battery, then you need to drive it for 3-4kms to allow it re calibrate the camera !
@@doolanbrian hi bud everything it's to big and wide, not as quick as my 16 plate dci, seats don't pop up in the back and the biuld Quality is pis poor, y honda have gone up against a BMW 3 is beyond me it's in the astra and Ford focus, just feeling wrong. My front end one side has a vent the other is plain u no where the fog lights r not seen a other one like it
@@granto6738 i understand , one of the vents is clear as it sucks in air for the engine there on one side .... In terms of what you are saying I hear you , you don’t like it .. all you can do is change it for something different . It should be an ok car to trade back in for something else 🙂🙂

Hey Noel , we don’t have it Too often as we don’t get really bad weather here, I have however seen radars giving trouble so if you are having an issue with it regularly I’d say you might have a fault, Get into the garage to let them have a look! Thanks for watching
