Removing the factory air filter and air box, and plugging the vacuum lines on a 2007 Honda Shadow VLX 600. Older models may be different, this is for a single carburetor bike.
Thank you brother! I have been going thru the internet trying to figure all this out. U got it all in one good video! super helpful. Now I can work and finish my 01 vt600
Thanks Thanks Thanks brother I really appreciate this video I've been going nuts trying to figure it out what to keep and what not to keep after removing the air box and stuff you showed and explained it very well for dummies like me TJBrutal has video about this but the way you explained it just amazing.
Great video it helped me a lot, I ordered new stage 3 jets. Small question, you removed the gas pump and connected directly to the tank... Did you encounter any problems after this modification? Sincerely Jeremy
Wont run... Might turn over but wont run... Besides why be a dummy and try that specially if those things were connected, capped or any other way than how u left it? Lol
Right now it’s just the hose clamps that came factory on the hose’s, I’ll prob end up putting some small water clamps on them just to make sure they don’t come off. The two bigger plugs on each head are just plugged for now until I get some AIS plates to clean it up a bit.
I replaced the stock air filter with a pod filter and got rid of all the emissions junk that’s not really serving any purpose. It clears all that space above the engine and just looks a lot better. In doing so those vacuum lines need to be plugged.
There’s a couple different places to get one from, but mine came from Justin Alexander at Motor PsychoL J’s, you can look them up on Facebook, they have a bunch of stuff for the Honda shadows.
I'm not using your video for anything. The failure to show a record, from start to finish, in proper sequence, parts named, is the educational process. Your oral record meanders. Thks but no thks. Keep at it.
@beardsbusesandbikes1136 I followed everything you show now my bike shoots off while riding, i have to close and open the fuel cockpit to be able to run another 3 to 5 minutes. Before i took everything bike used to run normal. No idea what is wrong. I loved the video
@@firstsecurechoice202 dont plug the 2 little nipples on the carb where he said the two hoes meet into one, thats equalizes the pressure and allows more fuel to be brought in. If you plug them your bike will die out
