Thinking I can just got to a tuning shop and tune my car when they told me I gotta buy 1 of these first lol...why don't the shops just have these things!! For sell so many loops and hoops
Thanks man, really appreciate the insight from a tuner perspective. I've got a Kswap K20 debating PRB ECU with immobilizer override vs Kpro. Seems like the money I'd put into the immobilizer might gain more flexibility with Kpro investment.
At 2:06 it's totally fals... KTuner in-ecu is for 05-06 RSX not for OBD1, it's similar for KPro. For OBD1 there is Neptune which also made by the same people who made KTuner and thats similar as the S300. KTuner also has Bluetooth app called TunerView. 5:50 ... if you are a KTuner dealer, you can work on the tune on your laptop and can send it to the customer. 6:23 ... On some car, you have more settings with KTuner (10-11G Civic Si).
So what do you think would be better for me? I’m building a built turbo k24 Em2 civic with awd and I want to be able to have a economy tune for daily driving and a race tune for whatever. Is ktuner easier to do when it comes to hardware and installation and overall tuning or hondata? I have a 2001 civic btw. I also plan to put a base k24 engine and crv swapped tranny with awd in until I can do my engine and transmission build.
I have a cvt 20 civic and just want a little extra power, without spending ton of $$ bolt on stuff... So my question is hondata right for a stock car aka baby sleeper? Thanks
I had ktuner, hondata is wayyyyyyyyy better. Ktuner is very limited on the 9th gen si platform for some reason. Flashpro is more expensive but way worth it. In ktuner you can't even tune fuel (no fuel tables), only ignition, plus you get like no special/fun features.
They make Hondata Flashpro for your car so I would recommend that! No chip required it just plugs into your OBD2 port and your computer and I can custom tune it for you
