To answer to your question l've to say that sometimes it happens we pick up a song that's a bit too difficult to be done and we make some mistakes because the song is not been written in our key or for whatever reason. And singing is not an easy task, it's more difficult than playing a guitar or a keyboard. I would not know where to start from..!! Hahha... we better have a San San. Just finished with the band and it's been a long night so far so l'm going to bed or it's me the one that will be fired in no time lol !! Cheers, Luca

Well the Lancashire Cowboy is back in the saddle this time another fifties ditty . I do remember it . It was never a hit here and I have to admit first record I heard of him was Kisses Sweeter Than Wine which I find a much better song .Ricky Nelson has Honeycomb on his first album called Ricky and that was my first encounter with the song . So right away I`m judging this on one of my not so favourite fifties tunes so I`m not going to do cartwheels and get all excited Gary . You`ve done it not too bad .I`d say I felt somehow you were a tad fast on it . Sort of felt you might be trying to get it over and done with . Mibbees aye or mibees naw as our Kenny Dalgleish would say but that`s what I thought . You`ve done a decent job with it vocal wise and although not your best by no means your worst .Song doesn`t do it for me so I mark this in a fifty fifty way . Song gets 3 / 10 .Gary get 4/ 10 but I must commend your video as I felt it was very well put together and you get a bonus ...Total 8 /10 ................Now that`s better than a slater up your nose ! Roger Black Ha Ha.. your back lol.. and there's me posting Honey when you was away !!.. just listened to it again and there is a part in the song even on the original which will never be beaten that sounds a little out of sink .. I'm on time with the backing singers saying Honeycomb .. although it must be said this is a very hard song to sing as its non stop lol.. but this is one of my 50's favourites it was in the Film " That'll Be The Day ".. staring David Essex and my friends Dad had the LP .. brings back memories my good friend.. I think its one of my best vocally !!.. the lyrics on this are a bit of a tongue twister but happy that I did this one.. 8 out of 10 will do me :-D .. and much better than my Everly Lol.. although I posted " Let It Be Be " sometime ago on YT that seemed to go ok .. don't know if you heard that one ?. Firstly I`ll leave Let It Be Me as I canny hack that song and best let sleeping dogs lie ! lol I`ve got that That`llBe The Day somewhere .I saw movie when it first came out ,Thet were queuing round the bloack in the cinema .It was very popular at time as It had all the great songs on it . This song however we part ways on it .Don`t really like it and never did .I`ve got a few JR songs .Had Kisses Sweeter Than Wine recorded but wasn`t happy with recording do scrubbed it .One to do . Also got Oh Oh I`m Falling In Love Again and Woman From Liberia . B side of that Girl In The Wood an old Frankie Laine one is good too . Your vocals well it`s fine but I think I`ve heard you better . You know the ones I`ve said are your best so no good repeating myself . . I think song put me off a bit Gary . You are a super SuGary for sure ..........I`d hand you my Emperor crown but Luca won `t let me ! lol Check out Ettore`s birthday one .Bit different or you .
You missed " English Country Garden ".. just been singing " Kisses Sweeter Than Wine ".. great song love Mr Rodgers voice :).. love the part in the film were its at the fair and it goes from ride to ride and the music changes in every scene ..classic !!!.. well we all like different songs lol.. but its all just a bit of fun my good friend !!
Missed it as I`ve no got it . That`s not saying I don`t mind it .I have another I didn`t mention .The Fox and The Goose .bit naff but I liked it at time .I like his voice Gary and he`s made some good ones .B side of Oh Oh is The Long Hot Summer which was nominated for an Oscar . Very good singer but I`m not that keen on Honeycomb . Don`t forget the Robin Gary .........lol
