Reminds me of the dances in Laguna Pueblo. My brother and I would go to the plaza and sit on the wall to watch the Deer dances. Smell cedar and pinon burning from the homes and fresh oven bread and red chile stew. It be a cold day hearing the drums and singers. Miss those days.

Very cool to see! We Mexicans revere the Yaqui version of the deer dance. It’s a symbol of the Mexican state of Sonora which of course borders Arizona. The connection through the southwests people’s is real. Also fascinating is possibility that Aztec tribes (The Nahuas) where at some point connected with the Hopi if not their direct descendants. Aztec codices depict the Hopi nation and talk about how the snake tribe separated from the Hopi at one point going south. Our connectivity is bigger than we know! Much respect!

@hailoweenhailoween5264
@hailoweenhailoween5264 Год назад
I believe the Irish came from the tribal Celtic people. Celts and Natives had similarities. If you read history of the Irish, their history mirrors Natives very closely. From being colonized by the British, the catholic church trying to rid both people of their culture, language, names. Even Irish kids were taken by their parents and forced into boarding schools where they were treated brutally, just like what the Natives went through.

Exactly! Traditionally the Hopi dances are only to be filmed by other Hopi family members and are not to be shared as they are here on youtube. My husband is Hopi, our daughter half and even when she dances only family are allowed to film. Any films or photos are not to be widely shared as they are here. As he stated, many *true* Hopi traditions are no longer respected and followed. Many traditional elders disapprove of how the young ones do as they wish despite what is traditionally accepted and permitted.

Deer antler has to held in back to demonstrate the hey can dance away. Mask has to be sideways to be seen no other. Dressing is 100% to the core. No sitting when Man are showing skin. Everyone stay standing up. You have no hails then sing away together. Love, Miss Angel Gutierrez

As for having a teacher , to understand different languages with God's mercy Try to understand mercy I was given Sunrise, was Deer hunting I can give deep thoughts Speak for myself. Blessing , this word has different meanings to others. Received blessing, Many times, not say a word to any man or woman Received great blessing on a personal experience to know as asking a Father yes he listened. This dance to me personal by each one there need for others not asking for gain.. As one to feed his family, others to share.. away to give thanks to those animals to give their lives their ways is guided . Being grateful for its life. the dance of the deer. As to give respect .. Give thought to whom they are asking .I listen to, very grateful people deep and so personal. If I said thing out of line Not said hurtful.. On that cold morning Sun light its warmth Touching the very tops of the trees, the frozen top pops and cracks as the sun slowly Came up. The sound was moving could follow as it movement . The warmth touches the earth Without God's helping me to understand His blessings, an mercy

Osiyo ,“Our conversation with the Federal Gov. to Free Native American Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier who’s been falsely imprisoned going on half a century and to honor the Indian Treaties (pre-constitutional law) forming the basis of our great nation was almost entirely redacted on national TV shortly before the insurrection because it demanded that the then President also relinquish the nuclear codes which has never been done. Oct. 2020 I spoke with at least around a dozen federal agents including the FBI and even the US Navy. Trump says before being elected, “We have nuclear weapons so why can’t we use them?” Nancy Pelosi confirmed to our international audience on national TV that indeed they where removing the nuclear codes with the help of the CIA and if anyone has any questions they could just call up and ask. What followed only confirms nuclear tensions where about to explode. The redaction is worth at the minimum trillion$ more than all moneys because with nuclear war lights out! Nothing! This simultaneously addressed the other largest nuclear power and all the rest without having to address any of them directly except our own.”
