Horizon Burning Shores Ending Explained And How It Sets Up The Inevitable Sequel 

Just finished and it was awesome. Short and sweet. The graphics blow me away on this game!

Horus final battle was way more better than Tilda battle that's for sure! and the soundtrack during fight with the horus just masterpiece

I'm mostly interested to see how Gildun will fit in the next installment now that he has a focus and is Gaia's BFF :-)

1:58 "SILL-ins"? The second most important character in this game... It's "SIGH-lens", they say it thousands of times between the games and DLC, jesus. At least he only says "SILL-ins" about 12 times in this video 🙄

Loved this DLC, a masterpiece. Amazing graphics, Seyka is aweosme, love the relationship she has with Aloy. Can't wait for the next game!

I just beat burning shores now i rate it a 7/10. I want horzion 3 in the future to only be single player only and I want it to be a ps5 only game.

I love this game so much, I find myself doing every side mission or ruin possible still lol any content will be completed

Burning Shores was fun. It should have been part of the base game. Too short. I began at level 50 and beat it in less than 5 hours.

I love the game, thoroughly enjoy playing it, but I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that we've pivoted from searching for Gia's subordinate functions to restore the echo system and battle the rogue terraforming systems, to now searching for advanced weapons to fight an AI from space...

I am so hyped considering that this is just a small portion of what horizon 3 is gonna be like. Especially with the Horus boss fight it makes me so excited to fight nemesis

Alright it's time to voice my opinion because... I'm fucking tired of the backlash of Aloy being gay. It shouldn't matter at all (and yes, in my opinion, there were subtext all throughout both games). Aloy's sexuality shouldn't matter because it simply doesn't affect her personality... So why should we care ? The only problem that I have with the DLC, is that if feels rushed. Attraction can come quickly but it seems too fast for Aloy's development. This said : I think this flaw was a great disservice for introducing the idea that Aloy might be gay/bisexual

For the third game I would like to explore a massive spaceship that landed on earth.

The first Horizon back on the PS4, I thought was amazing. Since then, I’ve moved back to Xbox and really enjoying it, but I’m seriously thinking investing into a PS5 down the road just to play the new horizon games. So I hope they’re as good as the first one

Great dlc loved it, I will be 💯 percenting this game just like the base game!!.. I just need them to make the hand to hand combat better in the 3rd game and make the diving machine have more to do in the 3rd game also make the flying machine faster in the skys and can we get a machine shark? Like expand the under water stuff..

Amazing game series. Literally finishing the last mission on the dlc right now, (paused to type this) can't wait for the 3rd game, guerilla absolutely knocked it out of the park, still wish we could fire from our flying mount though. The next game is going to be amazing

The romance was so horribly written in Burning Shores, and it didn't give me the option to say. "Sorry, not interested. I just want to be friends." If it just gave me that option, it would have been fine. It seriously felt like it was just thrown in for American political reasons and ruined the story for me. For example, The Last Us 2 is a great example of a lesbian romance that was well-written and not political. Maybe, it's because I have personally had that same situation happen to me twice in the last year or so, and I really don't like it. I'm bi and two of my best friends (one is gay and one is trans) and they both started wanting a romantic relationship, which I don't want right now, and it has ruined the great friendship we once had. Then, I'm playing the best game on the planet, Horizon series, and the same thing happens out of nowhere at the end of Burning shores. It ruined it for me, and I wish I had not played the DLC at all.

Nothing against gays or anything but i really do not get why they decided to make aloy gay. It’s way too rushed I feel not enough character development and it honestly feels like a Disney movie. Get to a place kill the bad guy and then kiss. Can’t be the only one.

I don’t think H3 will be online. The online game will likely be based in a different area of the world some time around when Aloy is doing her shtick in east US. What I hope for H3: We get to travel around a different part of the US or the world. East coast, New York, maybe? Or even travel further west to Asia. I’d also hope for us to at some point, next game, the online one or somewhere else further down the line, perhaps come across a small remote island that maybe turned out to not be destroyed during the time of the ashes (or did they in the story state that everything was 100% destroyed? I recall bits from pre-destruction stated that everything will be, but maybe it wasn’t). I think it would be an interesting concept that maybe some fled to the far north or south pole to get away from the machines and ended up surviving for generations. Plus, let’s hope for a melee combat system improvement - the ability to block small machine and human attacks would be a true game changer!

if there's really a third game in the works, forbidden west should first come to pc. and if there's going to be an horizon online multiplayer game, it should be released simultaneously on all platforms.

I believe in the next game we will have aerial combat especially with the spectar gauntlet its just such a brilliant idea i cant see them not doing it

my only problem with this game is the mediocre writing and narrative its the one that keeps it away from being a top tier game for me. the decima engine is hard carrying it. i hope they hire a better write in horizon 3

Loved the dlc but making aloy lesbian just like that was really bad written in my opinion. Tlous make that a lot better. Aloy showed any interest in any woman or men in the first and second game and then she became lesbian just like that. It was really forced and unnecessary in my opinion but honestly the story was never the big sell point from horizon and more gameplay and graphics.

We need to start calling these things Endings Discussed, because they're pretty darn obvious as-is with no need for explanations. That said, loved the DLC

I enjoyed this Dlc even more than i liked the base game, and i liked it alot.

Pretty sure they haven't even played the games, they talk about it like they've seen parts of the story with no sound. Kinda pathetic

I saw on twitter they revealed she's gay. Man can we just have a game to play without people wanting to care or know about their sexuality. Lara Croft from the original games never had a sexuality agenda game, she just went on adventures, that's all.

Ehh. Loved the 1st game. Lost interest when they decided to add the returning space humans. Felt like the story add was unnecessary bloat/executive meddling.

This entire DLC story just seems like it was completely rushed and just a quick afterthought the throw some things in the game that they forgot... Lundras story line is bland and basic... as one of the other people put it he's one mustache-twirling away from a cliche... And the Quen tribe... I'm sorry but this is the series weakest link. They were an uninspiring boring tribe... and what little we got of them in Forbidden West should have stayed there. This particular installment just made them seem worse made their story more boring and honestly made me care even less about their characters minus Seyka. (She's awesome) The whole DLC could have been done without the inclusion of the quen... they could have introduced a new tribe and waited till we went overseas to bring the Quinn back in... Quite honestly if you follow forbidden West it's the banuk that we should really be seeing out in the burning Shores. After all it was them that we even learned about the burning Shores. More sci-fi enemies...less actual machines brought in... Over all a dull couple of hrs. Other than this attempting to lead us into the third game it really brought nothing to the table.. and what it did bring it could have included in the original base game but there's that acronym DLC which actually stands for - Deliberately Left out Content... You know that stuff that they remove from the base game so that you were only paying for about 90% of it and then they charge you again for the rest of the game like that one game did where they literally charged you to be able to beat the final boss.. And the bugs and glitches... there's so many of them I thought I was playing Skyrim again for the first time

Good DLC but leave out the Lebian/Gay and LGBTQ+practices in the sequel, the game is currently being reviewed bombed because of it.

The Horizon games would be perfect games if it wasn't for the terrible personalities of the main character and alot of the side characters, their dialogues and some of the silly modern day ideological and political propaganda that has been placed into the game here and there
