Dang we loaded those with 6.2grs which was on the hodgdon site but then i looked at the hornady manual and they were at 5.8 being the max. That's good velocity for the Glock 43. Great Video as always.
Great video you got some really good results out of a short barrel. These 124 gr XTP's shot very well out of my CZ SP-01 Shadow. I settled on 6.2 gr of HS6 but 6.0 gr was accurate as well. In the Lyman 50th it shows 5.6 gr min and 6.6 gr max (not +p) with CCI 500 primers and Federal cases for this exact bullet. Makes a solid practice load to replicate factory Hornady 124 gr XTP.
Xtp's are always a solid choice. Not the biggest expansion in the world. But plenty of penetration which is more important anyhow. Perfect hunting round.
I just bought that same leaf blower. Mine chews through a 1.5 amp battery in about 15-20 minutes. Lol. Nice loading and great shooting! Never used HS-6 before.
Sometimes they'll break apart going too fast. Only really a problem with +p and 115gr or 90gr... also 155gr in 10mm. If they're going fast they'll jacket separate.
