Clear and white greenhouse roofing is the only thing Home Depot had. And it is Impact resistant in case something falls on it. Plus it was the right length.
Looks great, nice job! At the end of the video showing all your block targets, what are the big white foam blocks repurposed from? Would like to get ahold of some of those!
Thanks for watching hopefully it was helpful. As for the foam blocks I live in the Florida Keys and some marina’s and boat dealers use them to set boats on. I don’t know where they get them from. I found those after a Hurricane in the bay floated up into the mangrove trees. Thanks again.
I just finished mine using the same horse mats and they stop GT 300 spine carbons just fine from 62lb DW 30”DL . I added 2 castors to each leg in a zig zag style so that I could move it around the yard. nice job on yours! I’m probably going to add roofing of some sort and curious why you chose clear vs metal or non plastic material ?
Nice Work! I don't have to move mine thank goodness it's heavy. Thanks for watching and commenting. I changed the name of my channel to Tarponpimp Outdoors going to be posting new videos and builds stay tuned. Thanks
I built the hole frame except the roof laid it down put the mats into position Sandwiched the mats between a 2x4 and the top 4x4 and screwed them together with 3” deck screws. Then stand it up. (Get some help) You might want to take a piece of one of your 2x4’s for the roof and lay it on the seem of the two mats and screw them together,Just until you get them mounted to the frame then I put some gorilla tape on the seem.
No trouble with it blowing over yet. We’ve had a couple named hurricanes come close and had high winds. No problem. Thanks for the question and sorry it took so long to get back to you.
