One of the most incredible final bosses I've ever fought in like 3 decades of gaming no joke, absolute masterpiece and the music my goodness you feel it like feeeel it. There was no way the ps4 could of handled this sequel. When the horus wakes up and you see it walking was a sight to behold. I can't wait for part 3 we are in for a ride folks
You can tell that putting Selka on the flying duty was a cope out. It has a chase sequence, an open world fight sequence, an arena fight, a swimming section, and a man-to-man fight. I BET they were ITCHING for an aerial segment to but it proved to be too much.
It certainly would have been cool if this DLC was on the PS4, or even if the final boss of the first game, HADES, was one of these things, rather than just another Kohpesh. However, the PS4 wouldn't have been able to handle either scenario due to insufficient hardware capabilities.
Londra had to walk this over to the ocean to cool it off... Thing wasn't ready yet, Imagine the devastation that could have been unleashed if Londra had time to properly "wake it up"
Thé thing was not a full size nor fully opérationnal Horus. A truly complète Horus should have been able to just mass produce Kopesh and corruptors alike while using Biomass as fuel. It was also smaller then most of thoses Seen in Forbbiden west and Zéro dawn
I suppose it's a good thing he decided to focus the power of that thing on Aloy instead of the nearby Quen settlement. At least she has plot armor to keep her safe 🤣
also of Horus before there were many more. Faro deserved to remain for all eternity to rot in this pitiful state. by killing him they only did him a favor.
A whole mission to take down one of these. And a heavily nerfed version at that. Now imagine thousands of these without the limiting factor that is the human brain.
This was the perfect soundtrack the horus fight You hear the music and think right way stuff like the end is here, we are all fucked Just brings the epicness of the fight to a much higher bar
what would i say if i was there instead of aloy: "i know it might sound hard or even impossible to you.... but there is no other way....we will make the impossible....possible....we will stop the horusbefore it goes into rampage...."
This OST just goes to show the love Guerrilla put into making the burning shores DLC and how much of a masterpiece it is. There is a lot of great content and is very fun too! Can't wait for Horizon 3! 🤩😍
Right? Like horizon game should be in Europe like parts of the uk 🇬🇧 and Ireland 🇮🇪 Scotland 🏴 and maybe around Europe Asia Middle East Africa Mexico South America parts of the USA 🇺🇸 Canada Cuba and around the world 🌎
@@Darthy_fire27 like parts of the uk 🇬🇧 and for dlc ireland 🇮🇪 or northern Ireland Scotland 🏴 and Europe and for a 4th game Asia parts of china 🇨🇳 India Japan 🇯🇵 and Australia 🇦🇺 and for dlc New Zealand 🇳🇿 and call the third game horizon the future of London ♥️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇪🇮🇪🏴🏴 🏴🏴
Phase 1 gives me the creeps and feel of loss and desperation, Phase 2 gives me a sense of hope to maybe survive but whatever happens is history, Phase 3 is just a battle against all odds which is terrifying, full of intrigue and a bittersweet ending to a great battle. I love the whole OST of HZD and FW but this dlc really did something special man, hopefully the 3rd entry will be a global success as it deserves it.
Thank you for this, when I heard this track I couldn't stop listening to it repeating the same part over and over again. What I really loved about this track is that in every encounter, I only had in my mind one thing: "Bro...this is just a glimpse of what The Faro Plague did to mankind....If Aloy is having the trouble of her life beating just one of these things, I couldn't ever imagine what the US army in Operation Enduring Victory had to suffer with hundred and hundreds of those robots, all of them at once and draining life on earth every minute.. All the casualties, all the destruction... just from a mistake of one man" Its sucks, It really gives you the vibe of an apocalyptic desolation. Guerilla blows my mind every day
Horizon forbidden west should ofngotten a 10 instead of 9 in my opinion it was an absolute fkn masterpiece man. Burning shores took it up to an even higher notch
Even worse, that titan was damaged and overheating, aswell as manually controlled by Londra. We can only imagine how they would operate as part of a swarm..
It’s just obscene that Londra would use it at all. It’s literally fattened, glutted on the bodies of our dead. If the man had any semblence if a conscience the only interaction he’d want with them is to bombard their husks from orbit on general principle. Heck, it’d be a way to scare/impress the inhabitants of Earth into some degree of reverie. Seems like exactly what he wanted.
wrong in horizon zero dawn and forbidden west there are barely any horus machines like only 1 at the grave hoard and 1 in all moutain and 1 somehwere else and the ones in forbidden west they arent even a 10 i think and the people where fighting not hundreds of horus but hundreds of corrupters and death bringers
WoW thanks ! Phase 1 of the track is my favourite : when Aloy just landed on a roof while the Horus is running to the sea, what a sight, I just stand there and watched the scene.
Ever since I first saw a Horus in the first game I wanted to fight one. I played through everything in hope I could fight one. Then one day I find a DLC I never heard of and see that fucking thing awake. I was honestly expecting a meh fight with more spectacle, maybe just flying around and bombing it. Those expectations were blown to pieces and gave me everything I dreamed for that fight.
This is just amazing. Ominous, breathtaking, intense, so many words like that. You're fighting something that quite literally caused the end of all life on Earth a thousand years ago. Almost every being that was alive back then spent its last moments alive either starting at one of these things or offing themselves to avoid having to. And this music recognizes that. It's somber, as if to acknowledge the lives lost, but also threatening, to remind you that more lives will be lost still if you don't win.
id like to point out that every single instrument in this up until phase 3 is a synth- but the lead is a single human voice. the instrumentation perfectly encapsulates the feeling of this fight.
THANK YOU FOR THIS. Phase 1 sounds hopeless Phase 2 sound like there's a bit of hope Phase 3 sounds like if the words "yeah we got this" was put into music instead of words
This somber and sometimes outright ominous music with the powerful emotional theme kicking in occasionally makes the whole fight feel like a suicide mission. Which makes defeating the Horus and making it out alive all the more cathartic
The new music is a really underrated highlight of the DLC. Wish it were a bit denser in content overall but they didn’t skimp on the soundtrack one bit.
I absolutely love how this track perfectly captures the haunting beauty of the Horus and the feeling of urgency to defeat it. This was such a well done piece both musically and it’s presentation in game. Cannot wait to see what’s next in store for Horizon.
I had a lot of fun playing the DLC especially that last battle. I was hoping to complete the game but i've encountered another crash right before the last cutscene lol. I will probably wait for a patch to release & hopefully that'll fix things but in the meantime i will focus on uploading these many tracks i've ripped. Hope you have good weekend 👍😀
@@HorizonThemes Have a nice weekend ! Thank you again for you hard work ! I am waiting to begin my journey in Forbidden West due to some personal things, hopefully by the second half of May I will begin ! I did a run through of the story mode when it was released but couldn’t record it for my channel. I have already fully recorded Zero Dawn(+Frozen Wilds), and looking forward for my 100% trophies and collectibles in Forbidden West (+Burning Shores)
Finally 😲Epic and Godlike Soundtrack for This Enormous and Badass Final Boss in Entire Series So Beautiful 👌Huge Thanks for Mista King Have a Good Evening ps:Phase 3 is So Intense Thanks you Guerilla for this Best DLC of the Year for me
What I noticed that even haters of game and this DLC specifically simply can not deny that this fight was awesome and epic as hell. I really wish for at least 2-3 such fights in Horizon 3. However if Guerrilla decides to make game about Operation Enduring Victory where players would be able to kick such montrosity at it's full potential, that would be amazing
I played through this dlc at the same time i read 1984 for the first time, and i felt like i heard this song in my head (the very beginning part) whenever orwell was describing something particularly horrific
In my mind, I see 1000 years ago this played when the Horus was still active I’m hearing blairing sirens in the distance soldiers evacuating civilians as best they could most hear for the shelters all of them in a panic. Running and screaming is what I see as the monstrosity unleashes its fetid children upon the humans. Military blast from the bottom with tanks and jets roar into the ash covered sky’s sending bolts of lighting bullets at it but to no avail. Day turns to night as soldiers relentlessly fire at the giant machine, but to no avail……then all is silent.
Absolutely beautiful soundtrack, honestly it fits the scale and magnificent terror that is a Horus titan. Idk how the composer was able to do this so effectively but this part right here 16:00 is basically exactly how id imagine the music rendition of being attacked relentlessly by massive drills. Imagine the terror the ancient humans aka us in 20 years thinking you're safe in a deep underground bunker and then you hear a distant boom and followed by the sound of seemingly hundreds of drills simultaneously boring their way directly toward you. This soundtrack perfectly conveys the scale and horror that must've been like
Yeah. Remember US Robotic Command? The arm, puncturing deep into the facility, creating a path right to the heart that Aloy followed, centuries later? How it smashed the tanks and soldiers aside? The audio logs, with the sound of crumbling stone and grinding drill teeth sounding clearly in the background? These things are walking bunker busters. If they can reach it, they can crack it.
Is that right at the end? If so i won't be able to grab it yet as the game crashes right before the very last cutscene which is stopping me from completing the game.
@@HorizonThemes I think it was right bevor the second last quest. After Aloy tells Seyka about Nemesis you find her on the beach and get the New quest for the water wing and pangäa park
The phase 2 transition is so ungodly foreboding. The rest of the music embodies facing a giant, world-ending, mechanical land kraken so well but the DRUMS. Those few beats with those drums banging in your ear. You've been dancing around the feet of the architect of the apocalypse for the first two phases but now? You have its full. Unbroken. Attention.
The horus battle theme is something else. I really enjoy the boss themes in this game, I remember hearing Second Chance in the middle of the night on release day and just feeling absolutely thrilled! Titans wake and steel snare give that exact same thrill, even better maybe. So cool!
Wondering the same. It does sound like Melissa R. Kaplan, but if so, why did they choose part of Beta's theme? I can't help but feel like there's a deeper meaning behind the choice of vocals.
Was asking the same... usually Julie's voice kinda represents Aloy. But here it isn't just Aloy but also Seyka fighting. Maybe because of this? For emphasizing that it's both of them... a lot of interpretation 😅
@@Heyiammaxi So much interpretation. At 18:30 you have two overlapping themes, which I'm guessing represents both Aloy and Seyka? Perhaps the use of Beta's theme's vocals is a foreshadowing for Horizon 3. Maybe she'll be controlling a Horus to help defeat Nemesis? On the other hand, since Londra was most likely the last Zenith alive, maybe they chose Melissa's vocals as a means of showing that Beta's whole miserable upbringing by the Zeniths has finally been avenged by killing all of them. Little afterthought: Now Beta's free, at last. She's been terrified of the Zeniths, seeing as they've only ever wanted to profit off of her and constantly kept chasing her. With them gone, she can lay that fear aside. Kinda similar to how Aloy basically frees the Burning Shores of the Horus and Londra's influence. There's honestly so much you can interpret from this soundtrack, it's impressive. Absolutely looking forward to Horizon 3!
When I was getting to the heat sink I didn’t fight anything I just said fuck that until I got to the clamberjaws dealt with them then came the fight and I loved every single second of it I almost did whole thing on my first try only to get inside fall then die
Do you have the theme for the guitar that plays when they’re at Pangea park? I think that’s what it’s called. The guitar theme plays when you’re doing the quiz game and most of that level I think. It’s an acoustic guitar track
I have a couple of tracks from the quest you do there that i will upload later. If its not any of the ones i upload i will go back in game & grab it for you.
@@HorizonThemes ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QZUGhQUUk1M.html the part at 2 hours 35min into the video is what I’m referring to. But there’s some other nice acoustic guitar parts in that level too, such as at 3 hours 3 min and 30 seconds into the video. Not sure if it’s part of the same track or not though
@@VirusRider I'm pretty sure I have the one at 2 hours35 mins but not the other version. I'll grab that one when I'm next on. There's quite a few versions of this track in game including a battle theme version which is mixed with shoulders of giants that I'll be uploading later.
As soon as the theme started playing with the transition form animation to in-game where we see the horus in all its glory, I immediately fell in love with the them and tried to look for it online but couldn't find it. I would even risk dying on phase 3 just to hear the music. It's such a good peice.
Really liked this OST and the fight itself. Then I played Alicorn (Ace Combat 7) and The Dark Colossus (NieR Automata) themes. Felt the need of something more "apocalyptic".
Hello Mista King! There's a new armour called 'Nora Lookout' that you get in Fleet's end or other settlements in the burning shores. The point is that it is similar to the one in ZD pre-order exclusive. If you've gotten it, what do you think of the armour?
What if the Horus also had the biomass conversion system , if the other chariot line models had a what I like to call a conversion cloud of different sizes depending on the unit, I bet the Horus would have one the size of a f*king tornado to fuel itself
I wasn't fortunate enough to experience the fight yet due to a lack of PS5 in my apartment but this fight and this soundtrack are the main reason I'll be saving up for one now. The music is so brilliant. Everything about the game is brilliant. I'm a fangirl, I can't.
If you take all the chariot line robots and just place them onto like a Google mood board and play this song you can sence that this song was meant for them expecially the horus but like damnn it hits
the fight was intense. The music is perfect. The struggle against the super human & machine an added bonus. Guerilla Games just can't seem to stop making masterpieces.
I don't think Bilegut has a unique theme outside of quests & If it does i have not yet heard it. There is a theme that plays on a quest for Bilegut but that is quest related one & won't play outside of it. I'll upload it later for you. 👍
I regularly listen to this song when I'm sad and crying 🥹It helps me through the difficult times and it actually makes me realize how hopeless nature can sometimes be and that there is always a little hope involved. Everything always works out in the end
