Thank You So Much for all of your helpful information dealing with this subject for this is not discussed with the family in case of a medical emegency of what the family would like to chose. Believe it or not hospice care can be forced on the family even if it is not their wishes to not go through hospice care. Palliative Care was never a option while discussing both hospice and palliative care. Does Palliative Care try to find ways to help a patient improve their condition to get better?

Does palliative care also provide music therapist? There should also be pastors that could be coming in for people that are in hospice, because both my great grandmother’s were in

Depending on a person's health insurance and the services ordered by the doctor, music therapy may or may not be part of palliative care. Thank you for sharing about your great grandmothers and the care they received.
