Nice recipe! I am of Indian origin, so all that heat is very normal for me. My family and I will probably add extra chilli powder to this while serving :). Btw, what’s the brand of your knife? It sounds very sharp. Do you sharpen it?

Does it not start tasting like burned garlic when it gets to that dark colour? Can I leave it a little less done? Also, does the sauce needs to be stored in the fridge? Delia, how long does this last with the fresh garlic added? I know without fresh ingredients, just dried ones, it can last for a few months. Does this need to be kept in the fridge? Looks awesome to this garlic lover!

Christina In Michigan You can if you like, I just feel that the toasted thin slices of garlic gives the sauce a better flavor, but that’s just me. But most definitely you can use the minced garlic, tfw have a terrific Sunday 💕
