Hey Yogis, we know your love Bikram - check out latest Quarantine yoga flow for when you only have 30 minutes and need to sweat (it will definitely make you sweat - no heater required!)ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a-NtpsI70jo.html
I also love this video and do hot yoga during the winter months. I live in a very rural, agricultural area in California... with the nearest town with yoga about 13 miles away. I have a space heater in my spare bedroom and do this video, which is book marked on my laptop! It makes it possible to do a hot yoga workout from home. I also have a hot tub, which I usually need after one of these courses!! It's great having this option, taught by such a capable instructor!! Gonna get to it now.... haven't done it since last fall..... here goes!! Thanks Maggie!
Thank you. I've been recovering from a nasty cycling accident. I'm still recovering from shoulder surgery and figuring out my neck issues. I didn't think I could do a full class. I was actually surprised at how much I could do. I thought you taught a very nice class. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! I enjoyed doing this in my cleanly scrubbed bathroom with tub full of hot water and space heater. I've been to countless bikram classes over 15 years...but it's been almost a year since I could even find a studio offering the original series. Now studio yoga of any kind is like an ancient dream...it was actually pretty nice.
Hi Maggie, just wanna say thanks for your great class. I have done Bikram at studios but now live in an area, Eastern north Carolina, where there are none. Finding this on RU-vid is good and your class is excellent. Good balance of posture times, savasana time, and not to much "chatter", just focused and important clues. You are a good teacher! Thanks
Thank you Maggie! I live in Costa Rica in a very small city and there no yoga studio nearby. So it is a really pleasure to have the opportunity to practice with your video. I ‘m new with Bikram (in the past I practice other types of Yoga) and I’m really loving this method! Thank you so much! Namaste
Thanks. Have just done my first Bikram class (going in without any pre-conceptions) and this has helped understand what I went through and what I can expect going forward.
Thank you! I love the tone of this class by Maggie! Savior during covid time. I do it with 90F max setup of my heater. Works perfect. I sweat within few min! A great 4 days a week for last 4 months in home.
This class is so strengthening and helps me to recharge my mind and my body. Maggie has a very motivational voice and her instructions are very clear. I had to stop going to in person classes due to chronic sinus issues. Being able to do this yoga at home (outside) is a total game-changer. Thank you Maggie and Heart Alchemy (great name by the way) - Lauren in Houston, TX
This has been awesome. My neurologist recommended Yoga for my TBI. Unfortunately the lockdown happened not much longer after that. I've done this type of Yoga years ago and loved it not just for the physical aspects but for the emotional, and spiritual aspects as well. Namaste and thank you for posting this along with other Yoga videos.
I have been following your videos in my home practice. I appreciate you instruction and supportive comments as you teach. I am setting up a home yoga room and I wondered if there is a 'better' direction to face when practicing yoga. I have north and south walls for a mirror. thank you.
I saw the lady who came late waiting for teacher to let her in. When teacher didn’t let her in, she just practiced outside with the class. That’s a good idea because I wasn’t allowed to be in the class when I was late either, so I would do it like her. 😀
Is this good for patients suffering with multiple sclerosis? Would you suggest me the best practice for them if there is any that you might know. It would be a great help. Thankyou
Sneha Paudel yoga is good for MS but the heat is not good for MS. The heat can cause a flare up and make the symptoms worse. I would practice without the heat.
I do bikram 3 to 4 times a week for the past 2 months without any progress in my standing series. I really can't do any of the standing postures. Getting very frustrated. Any advice? I feel like I should be much further along for how much I'm practicing.:(
I have tried many Bikram classes and I really enjoy Michelle's gentle way of teach a really rigorous form of yoga. I must say though, the part of the script that tells you to "choke your neck" causes me trauma, what with the climate of Black people being hung and killed by officers with knees on necks. Please consider a more gentle and human choice of words. Thank you in advance.
*“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand."* -Mark 13:21-23
