I've been saying that since D1, I think the plan is to eventually put the guardians at peace with the fallen and cabal because they aren't inherently dark. The vex are a tougher crowd, and I actually have a personal fan theory that Savathun's grand deception is actually against the darkness and not against us, and that she actually wants to join the guardians because of what the darkness has done to her people

@@garbagecat1996 with the vex gods being planet sized AI i doubt there is any reasoning with them. I vaguely remember something about the hive not being able to understand our intentions without consuming or the like, so maybe Savathuun is trying to make peace as well.

Little minor thing. Craask was the one who gave the order for the creation of Dusk. Uldren was responsible for telling the other Houses. Uldren was subservient until He and Fikrul massacred the Kings

Well it's kind of justified, we were nocked down and trying to rebuild after the Collapse, and instead of seeing kinship and similarities and aiding us, the Fallen showed up jealous of us and started attacking, I have never heard of any attempts at peace. So far the only allies we gained were from those who saw through the hatred. Mithrax was shown kindness by Sjur and later we spared his life, Spider being a crime boss new the futile attempts to fight the Guardians and instead kept things peaceful on the Tangled Shore by making deals with the Awoken and later us. Veriks already had the ideas of Honor and what the Eliksni used to be and defected from House Wolves, seeing cooperation as a better path. And now House Light follows Mithrax's example. SO far they are the only 3 Fallen leaders who ever showed a desire for peace with us.

I don't know if this is still canon, But Taniks, The Scarred, a Strike boss from Destiny 1, was once a high ranking member of House Scar, now a member of House Exile, working for Skolas, Kell of Kells, after Scar's destruction.

I personally think House Scars Kell was killed by Taniks (who killed an unknown Kell) and after that they then crumbled over time

It has been mentioned as a highly possible scenario, since even Taniks's cloak resembles concept art designs for House of Scar. That and the mention that he killed his own Kell, plus his initial epithet, "The Scarred" may not be specific to physically being scarred in a battle, sharing some similarities with various Fallen that has the title Scar in them, specifically in the Prison of Elders.

To be fair, following traditions, the House of Spider isn't a thing, the closest would be the Spider Criminal Syndicate. Whether or not he identifies as a Kell of his syndicate remains to be seen, though. Imagine if he did, and if he used a custom Spider Servitor.

The zero hour part seems accurate but I think it was eramis s command to try and get Siva back using the outbreak prime/perfected in the old vaults. Also sending in saint to encounter fallen seems like a bad idea knowing his history lol

I would agree on the Saint-14 part, but I think having Osiris relay this info to Saint-14 allows him to better explain the situation. Unlike Zavala or Ikora who approaches things from a neutral standpoint for both Fallen and Saint-14, Osiris would know how to best communicate with him.

@@Moffee I mean in the lore (I forgot what it was) Mithrax did die (whether it be from you or someone else) and came back to life, however it is unknown if was by a ghost or by something else.

@@Moffee ya it's that one, but there is a different situation where Mithrax dies and come back but it doesn't say how or when this happened (I'm not completely sure if the second one I said is even real, I read about Mithrax dieing from a my name's byf video about Mithrax, I could have miss understood the lore tab and it was only the guardian that killed him and not a second situation)

@@bustanut5540 Yeah, I think I read up on that too, our mission on Titan where we either have to kill the Hive Knight or Mithrax, I believe Bungie mentioned sparring Mithrax was cannon, but personally I share the same sentiment with Byf, in that both does make sense, it's just that somehow(not fully explained, or at least I haven't found the explanation yet), Mithrax was revitalized. I recall someone mentioning a comparison with Taniks, so whether Mithrax has any ancient tech that allows him ressurection, or whether he has become light-chosen hasn't fully been explained.

If the darkness is expanded to match the light elements, do you think it would have those elements in the kinetic slot for weapons like stasis is?

I don't think it would expand upon kinetic weapons, since Cryosthesia was an oversight from Bungie's end, sure give a stasis weapon but the oopsie here is that it's supposed to be energy, not kinetic. Similar to how Salvation's Grip is for heavy weapon.

You mean Siviks, Spider's brother? He, similar to Spider, was from the House of Wolves, he then worked with Spider for a time, I believe until he left and formed the Kell's Scourge, they're a criminal syndicate similar to Spider.

House of Dusk was not founded by Uldren, under the order of Crask Kell of Kings he simply went to the other Fallen Houses during the Age of Triumph, he simply said they should unite, and once they knew Ghaul would be coming, they did, I like to think that they fled to the EDZ where they found amour and weapons left behind by the now extinct House Of Rain, they formed the House of Dusk hoping to survive the Red Legion and rebuild, new leaders and an Archon rose but were soon devastated in the Red War But they still remain as House Rain left behind many Ether Servitors and Walkers. Now House Dusk is a shell of the ambition it hoped to have, it now serves as a default house for the Fallen to survive as with no central leadership, there Devil members defected to Eramis's call and still keeping Dusk's colors, reformed a crude House Devils in the Cosmodrome. Now the only houses left are Judgment (Just Veriks so not much of a House), Dusk (Default for the pirate Fallen), House Spider, House Salvation (For those who wish to embrace the Darkness), and House Light (City and Guardian allies under Mithrax).

House of Judgment has officially disbanded since Variks joined Salvation, don't forget he was also reached out to by Mithrax/Misraaks himself to join House of Light since they needed a scribe, but he refused it. At least Variks himself acknowledged that while Mithrax is young and untested, he still had the potential to lead the Eliksni to a better more peaceful future.

@@Moffee wasn’t really a House of Judgment anymore when Veriks is the only one left. He joined with Eramis’s House Salvation as it promised to be a fresh start for their people, they built a whole city, and Eramis even said they’d throw out the old grudges, however when the Pyramid ship arrived on Europa, Veriks realized she only intended to build a Dark Empire. Thus he fled with a Shard Of Darkness. This led into Beyond Light. Veriks was never a bad guy. He even felt remorseful about the Breakout of the Prison of Elders leading to Cayde’s death. He probably joined with Eramis over Mithraax as Eramis was already a popular abs strong leader, I can only wonder what would have happened in D1 if she hadn’t been in the Prison since Twilight Gap. Just too bad Eramis wouldn’t let go of the hatred of Humanity.

@@TheZamaron I really hope they provide some good development for Variks, perhaps a redemption chapter for all he's done, or as a teacher to teach the younger Eliksni to let go of the hatred.

@@Moffee He hasn't really done anything to need redemption. I don't blame him for what happened to Cayde, Veriks felt his people needed a new leader so he left to be that leader, he released the prisoners to fend for themselves, Cayde just got caught up in the chaos and Uldren killed him. He didn't do anything wrong after that by joining Eramis, again he joined her hoping she'd work with him to rebuild their society, he didn't know she intended darker purposes, after he found out he fled to try and warn the Guardians. I think him staying on Europa to oversee the conflict with House Salvation is redemption enough.

"They may be more significant in fighting Eramis" This did not age well.... Bungie didn't do much at all with Good boy Mithrax. His story is being shafted by Bungie and it makes me sad that we may never see Mithrax beside just references like in Beyond light (The worst part of the DLC)

I know, Mithrax got vaulted, sadly. But if our battle with the House of Salvation were to continue, what's to say we've seen the last of him? I was disappointed with how Variks turned out, though, expected his involvement to be much more than just being a vendor for us on Europa. Not even an initial build up at the start of the expansion too.

It's always been speculated that it was due to his age, since he can remember the Whirlwind event, but it's also been known that once you cut off or dock an Eliksni's upper arms, they weren't able to regrow it.

I love Fallen and their Lore but they seem to be the weakest race with the cabal out of all of them since they don't have that ancient magic and darkness connection Eramis had a connecfion to the darkness but we saw how vex manipualted time and have this giant army and the hive has the taken and the ancient gods and knowledge with the Taken also being controlled by the hive

It's been implied that Craask is fearful of Fikrul, and since Fikrul, a.k.a Keyhead is Taniks 2.0 and not dying, I don't think it'd be surprising to not see Craask reappear until Fikrul is confirmed permanently dead.
