I love the brief glimpse we get of Aegon's relationship with Sunfyre. You can see the love. Probably the only kind of love Aegon has ever experienced.

The plan of attacking smaller castles in the Crownlands was actually discussed by Aemond and Cole in episode 1. They lined it out on a map with coins that Blood later stole.

The concoction that Alys gave Daemon was Weirwood sap, it's what Bran consumes to enhance his Greenseer powers. He drank it because he had just seen her eat some and then add hot water to it. In the books, it is said that she appears y I unger than she really is, but according to the showrunner, Ryan Condel, she is 400 years old.

Vhagar is a girl🐉

Trying not to give book spoilers here. In regards to dragons: Team Green has Vhagar (Aemond), Dreamfyre (Heleana, a dragon we have seen but not her riding her), and Tessarion (Daeron, the fourth kid we haven't met yet). Plus whatever is left of Sunfyre (Aegon) and his one remaining child, Jaehaera, would have a small dragon at this point. Team Black has Syrax (Rhaenerya), Caraxes (Daemon), Vermax (Jacerys), Moondancer (Baela). Joffrey and his dragon were sent to the Vale. I don't think they will be in play. Plus the two young boys that are Rhaenyra's kids with Daemon, one of their dragons has hatched. But is also too small. The big variable is the unclaimed dragons like Laenor's dragon Seasmoke (the one acting oddly last episode), Old King Jaeherys' dragon Vermithor (who Daemon sang to last season), his wife Queen Alysanne's dragon Silverwing, and some feral dragons that live on Dragonstone. They are *available* to Team Black but would need riders.

Vhagar is a she-dragon

Yeah, regarding all of the Pop Culture references to DRAGONS floating around everywhere, so recently watched a film playing on cable called "Revenge of the Green Dragons". There's a line near the end which sounded suspiciously like an airline company making the headlines lately. When I studied the film reference to "Bo Ying", it led me to Baoying. Which didn't surprise me considering the definition. Something wicked this way comes...

Aegon isn't dead. Remember the scene when he made Larys his Master of Whispers? He was being fitted with Valyrion Steel armor. Larys mentions Aegon the Conqueror wore the same to help shield from dragon fire. He's still burned and really messed up tho.

Rhaenys was sent by Queen Rhaenyra to protect the people of Rooks Rest in this Battle. Just because Vhagar shows up to fight it doesn't mean the Battle is over. If Rhaenys had fled back to Dragonstone, running away from the Battle and Abandoning the people of Rooks Rest, Rhaenyra's claim would be viewed as weak. Like Queen Rhaenyra runs away when things get tough. That's the simple answer for Rhaenys's suicide mission. Put even simpler, there were still people to protect. Not sure why you doubt if Aemond meant to kill his brother. Of course he did. The camera didn't even pan to Meleys. At the end it looked like he was trying to finish him off. And he took the dagger and walked off. He doesn't care especially after that brothel scene.

It's surprising me how many people do NOT seem to picking up what that scene with Rhaenys/Corlys/Alyn was actually about. Gonna be some surprised people in another episode or two, I guess.

having read the books this show is based on, the battle was hard. knowing the outcome. it was hard. and it is FAR from the last hard fight in this war.

It was kinda dumb alicent went out of her way to obscure from the maester that the tea was for her then she just leaves the flask out in the open fpr larys or anyone else to see

Loving the Cole hate. He's thoughtless and without values. Also, the actor portrays him as totally vapid, but he still acts - I'm never sure why. He is a motiveless character. Since a superb writer created him, I imagine he's being acted or adapted poorly.
