I hope that the dog goes to a shelter and that L.A.P.D does not let her keep him so that he can go to a better home. He seems very loving and it breaks my heart that this sadistic cunt treated him the way she did. She shouldnt be owning any animals at all.

The child won't want it if it never tried it. Second, it isn't uncommon for children to disassociate with certain foods (because of allergies or other reasons). As long as you can substitute it with something else delicious it's fine.
@milmil5350
@milmil5350 5 лет назад
Also, I don't see what diet has to do with this. Vegans are far more "animals are more important than human beings"-centric than anyone else. *If she were vegan she wouldn't be doing that.* Pretty sure she eats meat like her dog.
@milmil5350
@milmil5350 5 лет назад
Not to say that vegans are perfect in animal rearing. But slapping an animal and beating it lines up with *the physical torture and slaughter of animals that vegans typically aim to fight against* with their diet practices.

I think the worse part is abusive punishments don't work on dogs anyway. If she wanted him to stop, all she had to do was not give him attention. That would've made him finally calm down. Plus, why would you get a large energetic breed like a Doberman if you don't have the temper for him? She needs to have the poor dog taken away.
@jungtothehuimang
@jungtothehuimang 5 лет назад
THANK YOU YES!
@nachgeben
@nachgeben 5 лет назад
This isn't true. NOT giving him attention at all will cause him to actually act bad. Dogs will even act poorly to get punished if they're ignored, because they become desperate for some sort of interaction. The best way is to correct the behavior. For example, if a healthy dog wets inside the house, you show them the spot and tell them, "No, no." Then take them outside and, when they even just try to do something outside, you praise the shit out of them. UNLESS they aren't prone to wetting in the house, in which case, take them to a vet ASAP.

@Ironbay Knight G I am lost here.. what are you suggesting I am confused
@bananasinfrench
@bananasinfrench 5 лет назад
Chayyiel It depends largely on the behavior you want to correct. Generally, if a dog is acting out in order to get your attention, ignoring them will teach them that those methods don’t work. You teach them to wait and then you reward them with the attention they wanted. This is how you train puppies not to bark at you. You obviously wouldn’t use this if you’re housebreaking your dog. However, it’s also worth noting that holding your dog’s face in the mess and telling them no doesn’t always work, either. Sometimes they will assume you are angry that you saw them go to the bathroom, and this can teach the behavior that they won’t do so only when you’re looking. You might see some dogs wait til their owners look away to pee during walks. This doesn’t correct them peeing in the house, though, because they haven’t learned it’s wrong to do in the house, they’ve just learned it’s wrong to do where your owner can see. It’s better if you catch the dog in the act or about to, tell them no, and bring them outside. If you’ve taught them the ‘go potty’ command, do so once you’re outside. This may be more effective- at least, that’s how we trained my puppy once he was old enough to hold and not need pee pads.

Pro Gamer tip: If your dog jumps up on you and you want him to stop, turn away from it and dont acknowledge it until it stops. A good exercise is to enter the room, if the dog jumps turn away and leave the room again. Repeat until the dog stops jumping up. When you enter the room and the dog stays down, reward him with attention or treats. Cease rewards if the dog jumps again. If you have a large/energetic dog try training after the dog has had exercise or it will tire you out before you can get through a training session and inconsistency is killer for any training.

This is basically what we had to do when we brought our boy home from the shelter. He is 110 lbs and we were having a baby shortly, so any kind of jumping was a huge no no. We just wouldn’t acknowledge his existence at all until he was acting chill. He’s a pretty smart guy and caught on quickly. He jumped for 3 days after we brought him home from the shelter. We’ve had him almost 5 years now and he’s not jumped once since then.

@Ironbay Knight G Makes sense. My dog is oart German Shepard so he needs firm boundaries. Tone and verbal commands work extremely well. He can sense moods easily so he can tell if something he did upsets me. That's usually enough. I rarely have to do anything beyond that, but once or twice I have to either reduce slack on leash (attached to harness) or place my hand on his shoulders/back/chest to cue the "hey stop slow down" mentality. They become very focused and sometimes need a barrier to remind them to snap out of excitement. I've only ever popped him on the nose once,and that's because he got into something that could hurt him, so I needed to quickly enforce, "don't do that, it means danger" before it got worse. And I still felt bad, because I know he didn't know better, but I don't want him to repeat the action later and get seriously hurt or sick. But pinning him down and spitting on him would be absolutely pointless and cruel. There's literally no excuse or valid reason for it.

"he was not visibly or audibly in pain" you know, except at the end of the video where he yelped off camera while she wailed on him out of frame. But then again, she thinks because she took the footage down that we didn't see her spit on her dog and she can just say "Sorry I raised my voice at him and DID NOT spit on him."
@stopreadingthisusername9528
@stopreadingthisusername9528 5 лет назад
There is one reason and one reason only as to why she didn't bring up going full wrestler on her dog: she knows fully well saying something along the lines of " I'm sorry for slamming my dog's head on the ground. " would ruin her so-called 'apology' and destroy any sense of credibility she had from any of the people who hadn't seen the video. This isn't how you properly train ANYONE, human or animal, how to properly behave. The fact she praises and joins in her dog's hyperactivity only to lash out in extreme violence later will only confuse the poor dog and could make him grow up to be extremely fearful or as violent himself. Teaching a dog when it is and isn't appropriate to jump around the place is something that has to be taught and it requires lots of care and patience. The fact she is so quick to excuse some of her actions and completely ignore others shows just how much she doesn't see her dog as an equal. The whole " I can't be an animal abuser because I bought him lots of toys. " Is basically the same as saying " I know I threw my wife down the stairs, but I bought her lots of gifts so I'm not a domestic abuser. " Dogs aren't just cute things to buy like some expensive purse, they require the same amount of care and attention as any human child. There have already been enough studies and cases showing that dogs do react with strong emotions and have a very good memory, so long exposure to this kind of abuse can leave them mentally traumatized.

@@lamargordon6017 I'm not sure what you're trying to say. "If he was audibly and physically in pain" Okay so A) I'm going to assume she meant 'visibly' in pain, not 'physically' and B) Years ago, we saw my dog limping a little after going for a run and we're like "Oh, he must have gotten something stuck in his paw, let's take him to the vet and make sure he's okay." Turned out his damn *knee* was broken- not badly enough that there was any visible damage, not so much that he was whimpering or crying- all he was doing was limping, and not even that badly. He even had his goofy dog personality going on even when it was obvious that he would have been in some serious pain. The thing about animals is that they don't communicate sickness and pain very well; they're pretty good at compensating for it and hiding it, which is why you don't realize that Whiskers has stomach cancer until it's way too late to do anything about it. I guarantee you the dog was in some degree of pain from the hitting (spitting, while gross and inappropriate to us, probably doesn't mean much to him unless it gets in his eye), but because it wasn't *enough* pain to warrant a clear and prolonged pain-reaction, she wouldn't have noticed that he was hurt. (Unless, y'know, she uses her fucking deductive reasoning skills and figures out that "HITTING = PAIN") re: that one example, I mean, the thing about a three year-old is that they can *talk.* They can say 'ow, that hurts' or start crying to communicate they're in pain (and because we're human, we instinctively recognize these expressions and cues better than we would from an animal). I don't think this girl would necessarily abuse a child, tbh: People are more likely to abuse animals than kids because animals can't rat the abuser out to the cops the way a kid can.

Whats sad is if you watch the video she made back in January, "Where is Sphinx?" this story gets more fucking infuriating. Here are some of the her points from the video. 1. Says her lack of training him caused him "behavioral issues", and he didn't take well to professional training. Honestly, hearing how much they travel later on, he probably never got enough professional training for it to work and she didn't want to wait or pay for it. 2. He didn't take well to her new boyfriend. 3. He did things they "couldn't train out of him" which led him to be unpredictable which SHE COULD HAVE NEVER PREDICTED (her words), then Sphinx started being aggressive and attacked 4 other dogs, which she is concerned about because he would be put down...but also she could have been sued and "lost everything." 4. They moved to new home where the HOA doesn't allow Dobermans, something they would obviously know well before moving in, so I guess her getting the home she wanted was more important that the creature she took in and abused...But of course she says they wanted the best for him. 5. She talks about how even if they kept them they travel a lot and he was too aggressive so they knew he would attack another dog again. I guess they never heard of a leash. And thats that. They "re-homed" him. Of course for her it was a completely selfless act that they did for his best interest. Which, it probably is absolutely in his best interest, but we know that she got rid of him to suit her lifestyle. Interestingly, he is NOT aggressive to another dog in his new home. Almost like an aggressive dog becomes less aggressive when its no longer around an owner that beat the fuck out of them because they have anger issues. Weird. 6. She cries. Cunt.

She could have also taken him for a good walk. That does wonders for energetic breeds. Poor puppy. If she cant care for it, dont have a dog. @WayneZalinksy
@WayneZalinksy 4 года назад
miss unitedsteaks a slap is not going to get your dog taken away by police, male or female owner. Though there is a reason people tend to react harsher to male aggressive behavior than female. Men have the advantage of size, strength, bone density, muscle mass, testosterone, plus they tend to be more rough and rowdy by nature. Stereotypes happen by observing the same patterns over and over again, they’re based on truth but it’s not a one size fits all truth. Also there would need to be evidence showing a pattern of consistent neglect or abuse for a dog owner to lose their dog. Like the dogs physical condition, living condition, overall health and safety would need to be proven inadequate at the very least compromised. The police can’t take your child away from you for spanking it. Spitting is different.

When disciplining a dog there are a few options, flick their nose, put them outside for a while, you can put them in a submission hold but it is hardly necessary, or just sternly tell him no. Obviously what she did was unnecessary, like what the heck was up with spitting on him. Dobermans are extremely intelligent and needs a lot of mental stimulation, that’s why they are mainly recommended for experienced dog owners. If what she says is true about spoiling the dog then that doesn’t look good either, it shows a clear lack of experience. If you need to correct a dog, telling them “no” is a good start, but you can’t get worked up or else the dog won’t take you seriously, you need to be stern and emotionless when trying to stop a dog from doing something. Dogs work off of their owners activity level, so if they see that you are calm and confident they will reflect that.

Talking from experience with my current dog, who is fairly small but very hyper. She runs like fucking super speed in the yard, bites shoes when playful, barks all the time, and tends to bite when hyper. We have fun with her but when it gets too much, we have ways to get her to stop better than hitting. Or pinning her by her fucking fur.
@trumpwonhereistheevidenced4390
I don't know much about dogs, but I do know that sometimes you need to do something that seems unintuitive in order to teach them, and it differs by breed But I haven't really heard about the "slap and spit" method. I don't think that's real. :think:

When my dog, with whom I never took walks with cuz he would drag me around like a piece of cloth, is being too rowdy, I stay put and look straight ahead to show him that I'm not playing, that always makes him sit down and give me the puppy eyes... so we go back to playing.

It reminded me of an old case we had in Brazil which is surprisingly similar in some aspects years ago. Viih Tube. Brazillians know what I'm talking about.

I have a large dog. He’s a 110 lb German Shepherd/English Mastiff mix. I readily admit that I am not nearly the dog owner I was before I had kids. He gets much less attention now. I get frustrated with him much more easily. But I have never spit on him. And we don’t hit him. Because normal people don’t do that. I have raised my voice at him. Only when he’s about to do something dangerous (running into the road) or is doing something that could hurt my small children (he’s never tried to hurt them, he just doesn’t realize how big he is). I understand being frustrated with an animal while you’re trying to film something, but like... come on. You are filming and asking the dog to be active and playful. He doesn’t know you’re filming. He doesn’t know what you want from him. That isn’t going to get you the behavior you want. You can’t encourage play one minute and then get mad when he’s playing the next minute.

Don't spit on your dog, don't slap your dog in the face.. but remember, dogs are dogs, not kids . Don't treat your dog like it's a person, this is harmful to the dog!!!

Why would she get a dog she knew would be big and aggressive if she was gonna hit it if it did that?

I hate how people who do horrible things and show it somehow get away from it, i mean usually it still wont go good for them but I’m surprised companies will allow this, i guess negative talkings are worse then negative actions, oh wait it isn’t

The best way to deal with excited or bouncy dogs is to not give them attention or if they are biting you I tend to flick my puppies snout or give him a slight slap on the snout and tell him no or just put your hand in front of their face not wrestle them to the ground and spit on them this isn't wwe it's a pet
