Hi I met Alan at reading pa on April 23 2009 and he was and is so so great I will never forget that evening meeting him I have a big picture of him and me on my bedroom wall I am so blessed to have met him God bless him

I knew everything you shared here, and just clicked to see if you got it right, or left anything out. You did a great job! My parents took me to my first concert in 1975. I was blessed to see Johnny Cash! I wanted my daughter's first concert to be just as special. My wife and I took her to see Alan Jackson in 2013!

We saw Alan a couple of times. One was at Craven Country Thunder in Sask, July, 2012. HAlf way thru his performance, he said I am used to having people up dancing in front of me. Well my wife and I are ALWAYS up at the catwalk and as soon as the words came out of his mouth we jumped up there( along with about 100 other people) and started dancing. The security people were pissed but we were thrilled. We have loved his music ever since we first heard him in the early 90s but as time went on , we found that we loved the down to earth gentleman even more!!

Alan is a great singer and song writer, I love his work. I am 66 years old, Glen was my mentor from an early age. Because of Glen I got the interest to play guitar and sing. I preformed for several years in and out of the military, small clubs, but due to illness I can't anymore, I enjoyed it, but did not get as lucky as Alan. May God watch over you and your family and help you cope with your medical issues.

The first time I remember seeing Alan on TV was one Friday morning when I was at home watching C.M.T.(Country Music Television) & the amazing music video for his song “Blue Blooded Woman” came on air; as I watched it I instantly knew that this Georgia Native knew that if Real School American Country music needed a savior, He would definitely be the one to do it and of course I absolutely love “Here in the Real World” because it has some of the first hits of his entire career as well as other less recognizable songs like the opening song “Ace of Hearts”, “Home” & the super Epic closing song which is called “Short Sweet Ride”🥰 ♥️ 💕 🗺 🌍 🌎 💗 ❤️ 💕 ☝️ 🇺🇸 🎧 🥲 🤩 😻 🎵 🎶 🎼 🏠 🏡 📺

I’m a huge Alan Jackson fan. Been listening to him since “Wanted” come out as a 13 yr old. I don’t think country music has been saved though. It’s still mostly pop country with traditionalist getting very little airplay.

This man is an absolute legend! There is a episode show that Burt Reynolds hosted where he has Alan, George Jones, and Vince Gill where Alan talks about his mom and dad and growing up in that house. It's so sweet to here the story behind the tool shed and his family! He's the best ever!

What about Clint Black, Keith Whitley, Hank Jr, and Garth Brooks? These guys and several more drew me back to Country Music. I remember when Michael Jackson destroyed MTV with Thriller and I changed the C-Band satellite dish over to CMT. There were great songs and music videos on there to turn to as MTV died. Then a few years later Clint Black, Garth, and others made Country Radio worth listening to again.

I had the chance to see AJ perform live in D.C with Martina McBride as his opening. I have always been a fan of Country Music, and stand with AJ on the topic of keeping country traditions, I am not saying the artist out there today are bad in anyway, I just feel like some are only in this genre because they wouldn’t have made it as far in the genre they are suppose to be in.

Alan Jackson and George Strait are two of the classic country artists that I love the most. I was so happy when I saw Alan walk out on that fiasco of a 50th anniversary CMA awards. It was despicable that Beyonce was even performing there. The Woke Dixie Chicks shouldn’t have been performing either in my opinion.
