Our politicians, judiciary bureaucracy and establishment all have disappointed. Yet the masses have to brook the brunt. While I am writing a glossy ad on DHA Bahawlpur has popped.up. If that is the standard of living, let's make entire housing like DHA and Bahria. These rulers have failed to give a decent transport to the masses, what else to ask.

We have educated corrupt at the helm of affairs and so many illiterate and unskilled on the bottom. Then how this country can run. While middle class and in that salaried class is discouraged to grow and prosper despite being major tax payers as a cluster.

The entire tax revenue of this country can be traced through cars, palaces, plots and lands of this country. By making all payments above Rs.1000, mandatory by credit card or by chip system of CNIC all the transactions at two ends would be traceable and taxable.

One big disagreement his like for SS and Dar. IK too didn't have vision. We need strict rationing of petrol and total banning of import and manufacturing of cars above 2000 CC. Each car and property must justify its means of purchase and possession. No civil servant should be allowed green plate nor guards, house, protocols and servants. Everything should be monetized. And why they are given pension equivalent to their last salary. This is the arrogant class which comes into govt service to serve only themselves by hook or by crook.

Poor planning and casual approch with commercial sense is main cause of your problem. Do you know BRTS system for local city buses with PPP model, the local body is not investor, the bus drivers and conductors trained by the authorities bus owner actually pays few Rupees per km to the authorities...same model is successfully operating intercity between many cities in madhya pradesh...

I pondered over the electoral problem a few months back and came to the conclusion that votes should be weighted i.e. everyone votes, but the weightage differs. A taxpayer's electoral weightage cannot be the same as a non-filer's. A PhD's electoral weightage cannot be the same as an illiterate's. A person who receives remittance cannot have the same electoral weightage as a person who buys imported luxuries. An exporter's electoral weightage cannot be the same as an importer's. A fully vaccinated individual's electoral weightage cannot be the same as a conspiracy theorist. A cashless/e-money individual cannot have the same electoral weightage as a cash-heavy individual.

Muneeb's controversial remarks regarding women, elections, Karachi et al. are exactly what I concluded when Khan's petrol subsidy and the events after VoNC turned me into an ex-youthia. If some women do drive in Pakistan, that means the patriarchal society is not the problem (zero women used to drive in Saudi a couple of years back, so their society WAS the hurdle then). Pakistani women are lazy and incompetent like their male counterparts, and housewifery is the most coveted profession in Pakistan. The victim mentality is also what has kept Karachi behind in the political race over the years. However, I don't agree with Muneeb's analysis on Ishaq Dar, the charlatan.

Guest should not speak on behalf of women, if he wants to experience that be a women and try to survive in this insecure society. Women want to but being a women driver how is safe in this country. If he say so that women are driving in saudia and in any other country is the rule of law that women feel safe themselves that no can't harass them in any way
