@Star Killer I do not think there were thousands of followers. There was only 12 to begin with then it fragmented into different groups all with there own idea's on his teaching. Eventually Paul's version won out and that is what most follow today. There are still thousands of different churches with different ideas. I think it is important to believe in as many true things as possible. This is why America is so split over Trump or vaccines etc. Many Christians believe every word in the bible is the word or at least inspired by God. "Miracles" had decreased because faith has decreased. I have seen the sick healed in various unexplainable ways. Virgin? That's based on a mistranslation of a prophecy in Isaiah. In Isaiah there is no Virgin birth. There's plenty of virgins giving birth in Greek mythology, and most of the early Christians were from Greece (Corinth, thessolonika, Ephesus,etc).
