This is the craziest thing….so I am a social worker who works in hospice care and last week on Friday I was having a rough day, nothing going right, trying to help someone with little luck. The hospital social workers said hey before you leave here today we think you need to take the baby Jesus. They handed me the same one with the blue sash, said they found him in the elevator and were keeping him for when he was needed. I’ve been carrying him in my clipboard since then and TODAY the issues I was having last week are being resolved and the person who needed the help is getting the help….and then I see this video this morning! ❤❤
Someone was led by the Holy Spirit to minister to you and put it there 🙌 Yes He's always with you but sometimes we need something tangible when we're going through something. The Lord knew what you were going to be facing. This was an ordained encounter, I feel, to give you confirmation that you're doing exactly what you're supposed to. Praying you have many more God encounters to share along the way. 🙏
I love this! Anytime Jesus is being talked about is a good time! And any reminder of his presence and love for you is a good reminder! Go girl! Thanks for sharing!
The Jesus figurines came to our church through our children’s ministry. They placed them all around different areas in the church so that we could all have a little Jesus to take with us or you could give a little Jesus to someone else.
Not sure how it got there. I'm assuming someone slipped it in there. Either way, it's a blessing to have with you as you travel north to Katahdin. I just think it's so special. The trail provides as they say. Enjoy home, hope the knees are recovering. 😊
That is so cool! Its amazing what gets into your pack out there on trail. Definitely a trail angel was watching out for you. And yes, He needs to go all the way to Katahdin with you--maybe He will help you have peace and confidence on some of those terrifying rock scrambles like the ones you have already conquered!
I love it! Your new hiking companion. There is a literal trail angel out there on trail somewhere. I think this is fabulous and I hope it gives you encouragement going forward! 🥰
Wow that’s awesome. We all know that Jesus is with us every day. Now when you get lonely or scared on trail you have your baby Jesus as a reminder. So good to see your awesome smile.
God is always with you! He is most impactful in my life. I tell people I hike to have extra special time with God. We get caught up in every day life and it can put pressure on you to not focus on God with all things. I love your videos! The trail is hard. Even on the fun days there is always something hard about it. God will always be your protector and your provider. He just really likes it when we lean on him for our understanding and not our own understanding. Happy Hiking and know your followers are loving your journey and you! ❤
I gotta say that’s one of the craziest/amazing trail stories I’ve ever heard. This story needs to be on Kyle Hates Hiking “Trail Tales” series. You should get a hold of him I’m sure he would love it!! Thanks for sharing the story with us and yes carry Jesus with you all the way!
Jesus is always with you! Now you have a great story to share and know that He is watching over you. Someone is doing some spiritual trail Magic, for sure. So awesome!❤
What I do know is that He Loves you endlessly and cares about everything in your life. Even the secret needs that you’ve never spoken of. I also know He moves through loving hearts as a way to show HIS love to us. Many people love being a willing vessel for Him to work through. He moved through someone who had a beautiful heart so that He could show you love - very personally, letting you know that He’s with you and will take care of you every step of the way. I feel it was definitely orchestrated by your Creator who loves His creation dearly!
I loved that you pointed out the Jesus figure on that memorial. if you have accepted Jesus as your savior then he and the Holy spirit are always with you. Thank you for sharing this God bless you Prayers for healing and a quick return to the trail.
Absolutely, Jesus put it there! I believe that! He cares about what we care about! He KNOWS that you want to finish the trail and He is telling you that He will be with you! How encouraging!
Only my opinion: As a person who was raised and taught in a Catholic institution (great education, btw), I find it extremely presumptuous and annoying that someone on any trail is dropping their belief system into bags, regardless of their chosen beliefs: Christian, Islam, Jewish, JW, Atheism etc. A little J, most likely made in China, will not be the thing to get you to Maine. It boils down to your physical well-being, and along with that your self-determination, drive and lack of fears. I hope you hit your personal goals as you readjust. Make it your hike. Nature is the pilgrimage for the living. Btw, my different opinion is exactly why a man named Jesus was crucified and rocks were thrown. That man wanted us to go to our own center for faith, hope and charity and not use false idols but use our own inner voice. A true act that he would have approved of would have been perhaps a hug of support from the person who dropped that idol in your bag. You asked for a comment, so that is mine. On a funny aside, my partner said they would have freaked knowing someone was messing around their bag without their knowledge. lol
