Dont be mad that others have a better work ethic and more discipline than you, i knew many people including myself that were able to save up 30/40k in high school over the span of 3/4 years.
I got my first car from my parents (damn near perfect exterior and interior work 1971 Buick Skylark) because I got all 100’s across the board, earned three certifications in engineering and auto technology, and won three consecutive years in the district’s art program. I was the first female student to become ASE certified at that specific career school and my parents wear it as a badge of honor. I do believe I did my part as a student and child for exchange of a cool ride
No way a low IQ kid that gave that answer earned that money for his car. Parents help, credit with collateral provided by parents. I hate how these kids get things for nothing and then lie to impress their peers.
@@naur122 realistically it's not possible without having money in advance, even of you made a shit ton of money since 16 that would still take ALL your money and have nothing covered
@@naur122 exactly my point. Also an M3 isnt Just the price you pay to own It, but gas, insurance and maintaining It Is the real shit. You don't want that at 16-17 trust me
I work 60 hours a week it’s not impossible 😂 I work from 3 to 10 every day and Saturday Sunday I work from 9 to 10 13 hours on the weekends that’s 61 hours in total it’s not impossible y’all just lazy ass niggas who think jus cuz they go to school they can’t work and make money
bro not rly, i bought a srt jeep that was $65,000 in high school, i worked at the same place since i was 13 and also was part time trainer / coach for kids classes at my friends moms gym, i just had 0 expenses so putting 20% down wasn’t a problem and paying it monthly wasn’t near an issue. not everything is daddy’s money, just learn to get a job bro
@@inducement good on you your a rare breed i wasn’t working at 13 95% of kids aren’t 75% of that is daddy’s money i’m sure atleast 2 of those kids are daddy’s money
Even if he did work 60 hrs a week for $15 an hour he’d have an income of $43,200 before taxes. He’s just too prideful to admit he has support around him, he feels the need to assure you he worked for it. It’s really sad and disingenuous to his grandmothers hard work.
@@gabrielneto2430 not always but pretty much, I went to a rich school where basically no teens had jobs until junior/senior year. We once counted 40+ jeep wranglers in the parking lot, and 30+ Mercedes. We live in Chicago suburbs too so there's absolutely no reason for teens to get jeeps, they just wanted them from mommy and daddy cuz they can afford it 😂 I didn't get my first car till I was 19 and don't believe these kids for a second
@@livefornow1151 well it sounds like u just didn’t have as much drive as other kids with nice cars. If u didn’t get ur first car until 19, u obv didn’t bother to start working, and getting money at a young age lol
@@dudebros6122im late but true one of the charter schools i went to had a teacher making 90k/year while in a public school we had one making only 47k/year
@@Daytodaycontent I'm talking about a public school actually, and though he's a little more than your average teacher given he's also head of curriculum the pay is large. On top of that I've never heard anyone there complain about teachers pay. Though it's also Canada (Toronto area) so the price to live here probably counters all that money pretty quickly.
Nothing is easy just work smart but 10 to 12 hours day less when its school and dont give up also go run or gym everyday it makes mentally me happy or motivated
Nah it’s not legal but u can still do it who tf gonna say other wise I work 60+ hours while being a sophomore I’n hs I work from 3 to 10 weekends it’s 9 to 10 that’s 61 hours a week
The m3 is getting help from the parents. I can’t even imagine what the insurance on that thing alone would be for a high school student. Those m3 are like 70-80k
Anything over like 16k is definitely help from parents. I personally have put about 6.5k into my truck that I fucking hate, at age 15, because I worked since a month after I turned 14. That’s working around 12 hours a week during school and 30 hours during the summer. It’s not impossible if you have a good work ethic to attain. 15k car by the end of your senior year on your own if you work your ass off
@tips9149 wow man, good on you for saving up while young. Definitely a good work ethic. Trying to save up as much as possible in grade 11 RN, keeping the grind going. Should be close to 5 figures by the end of the year
I mean my friend had a bad situation with his car being stolen that ended up getting him an almost 20k settlement right out of high school. He went from a crappy Hyundai to a new genesis coupe
First kid with BMW is lying. It’s not legal to work that many hours per week in high school. Not to mention he would not even have any time to be in school.
U could. Not saying he didn't have any help bc he did. But u can work 40+ hours weeks if ur 16 or older. Let alone it was his families restaurant. So he could work as much as he wanted to. But he can't finance it. His parents probably are and he's just paying them back. But they also might've bought it for him but it seems like too specific of a story to make up and lie about. There are 168 hours in a week. It's definitely possible
People act is if they’ll die if they just admit their parents have money😂😂😂 it’s totally fine if you’re fortunate enough to have parents who can get you nice things
Well yea its easy when you work and dont have to worry about bills and taxes and not worrying about your nect pay check if youll have enough for rent and some kids take this fir advantage once real life hits them they dont know what to do
I’m glad they all worked for it instead of their parents handing them one. This teaches them what being independent is. 👏 I worked for my car. I moved out when I was 21, I’m 37 now and I’ve been on my own since then. I was married and in a decade long relationship but I never stopped taking care of myself and I split the bills in half if they lived with me. I’ve been single for a year now and I’ve been just fine on my own. I’m happy and feel free! I’m getting all types of messages from men and just leaving them on read. Lmaoo I’m allset and not looking for a relationship.
For me I'm working 55 ish hours a week and go to school at 1 and go back to work after and I get paid 25 a hour working on windmills and that how I bought 1 diesel and 4 different trucks
Assuming he worked 60 hours a week all 52 weeks out of the year at a rate of around $10 an hour (reasonable for working at your grandma's restaraunt), that's like 32k if you spent absolutely no money on anything. Enough for a down payment. Still not likely lolol
Parents told me early on that if i wanted something I'd have to pay for it. Paid $500 bucks for my 1989 Cherokee when i was 15. Died at 360k miles. Man... i miss that car to this day.
My parents bought me a new bike and said “time to get a job” when I turned 15😂😂 so I did just that a saved up for my first car. A 2001 Toyota Camry that I bought in 2014 for $3,890. Only had 73k miles. Took me over a year of saving basically all my money. Be thankful for the Honda😂 biking to and from work every day plus having to take the bus to school and back home isn’t fun.
