Hmmm very good questions. I think I nourish my soul in many ways. Curiosity of life is maybe the main thing. How to maintain that and not become negative and jaded by other people's behaviour especially at work!!!! (terrible managers there!!) I love to sing and play music (Guitar and drums) and write a few songs...just amateur but it really revitalizes me and helps me express all my feelings at the time. Reading books on psychology (Arthur Janov) and other things definitely is helpful in finding reasons why I am anxious..nervous...angry..sad...etc. and leads to a calm mind usually!!! Dancing to music...moving....some yoga...working out with the beach body videos....and getting ideas from your videos on how to move definitely strengthens my body. Also being in Canada ..skating in the winter....but golfing in the summer is great for the body too!!! Thanks for the questions. Do you do any sports or dancing?

Thank you for your reply James. I love all the variety of hobbies that nourish your heart and soul. 🙌 I myself haven’t played much sports since I was a teenager. I don’t have any real training in dance or gymnastics but these are the things I love to explore. 🤗😀💃🏻

@@LisaChavesBeachDancer I am sure you are fabulous at dancing...movement would not be a problem. :) Rhythm is important. Do you play any musical instruments or sing? You have a lovely speaking voice. Very calming. I really love to sing when I can. All sorts of songs. I am an ok singer. I took lessons a number of years ago and that really helped. Singing is all about breathing ...so that is a very nice way to calm oneself. I have a very deep voice but try to sing high...lol Mostly classic rock things ..Pink Floyd...The Doors....some originals....

I don’t sing much these days but I’ve been focusing a lot on breath work lately. I bet it would help my singing abilities. No instruments unfortunately. Do you do any CCR or John Denver? My dad use to sing and strum his guitar to these and other greats and it was one of his favorite pastimes. I miss the sound of him in his glories. Thanks for the memory. 🙏

@@LisaChavesBeachDancer Your welcome that my musings have evoked a nice memory for you. :) Life is living in the present and for the future..but life is memories too ...it makes us who we are. Just watch BLaderunner!!!! Well that is about replicants and memory implants....sort of diifferent...but you get my point. Breath control is huge for singing. THey call it supported singing. You sing from deep down in your diaphragm so you don't harm your vocal chords. Makes hitting and sustaining notes much easier. I play a few CCR songs....Who'll Stop the Rain....Proud Mary ....and Have you Ever Seen the Rain...I added a couple of new lyrics to that song...since it was short.... On and On ..and On it goes....like a winding river flows...I know ..I've been drifting for some time....... There is a great video on RU-vid of John Denver singing with Mama Cass Elliot I think ....Leaving on A Jet Plane. You father had good taste. What do you like to listen to?

Who would've thought that me who is exercising every day and being active and flexible athlete my whole life, after allowing my body to move in its own free way...that tears of letting go would start flowing and sense of freedom would arouse. My deepest gratitude to you, Lisa. It was truly inspiring and eye opening experience.

I like to stretch and excercise each day. I have found your videos and have added the stuff you do to what I do. I keep trying new stuff. I have made progress and feel so much better. I used to to play basketball when I was younger and when a player could do no wrong on the court. it was said he or she was in the zone, Lisa, you were in the zone on this video. Keep it up, great encouragement. The soundtrack was great too.

Ida Rolph Movement is life. Lack of movement lack of life. Great video. Glad to see you do this. I have been of this practice for years to keep aware of areas of my body where chi( ki) is blocked and circulation+ nutrient deliverey was lacking. Be like water. Breath the way a baby breathes (abdominal not chest).. Stick with fruits 🍌🍋🍎, berries 🍇🍓🍒,, melon 🍈🍉 and herb 🌿🍵 is all you need. Highly hydrating.. Moves lymph.. Removes stank bidy odors even from 💩. Namaste- The light 🕯 in me honors, the light 🕯 in you.

Fantastique tu fais rêver ! et tu es un rêve 😉 Every morning about 4- 4.30 pm normally before going to work, l exercise with basically the same types of movements. I've practiced it for as long as I can remember. I never really spoke about it before, because showing this type of exercise years ago, would most probably not have be taking seriously. In my younger days l was and still am somewhat unorthodox. It's my way of feeling and finding out what makes, and made me tick; without to much interference from the outside formatting system of what is supposedly expected from us as being normal 😫 Love your content and connection with nature. All the best Lisa 🙌💛🙌 Oh, by the way, I enjoy training when possible on beaches, but personally l prefer high up in the mountains👍

This is sweet Lisa thank you! The spine is the body’s highway to move energy, but it is underestimated or forgotten most of times ! Indeed exploding movements gets you to what fits the most. For me taking arms and shoulders back. You inspired me Lisa muchas gracias!!!!

My neighbors probably wonder what I'm doing when I stretch like this.. lol I broke my upper back really bad and damaged my spine in 2001. It required emergency reconstructive surgery. So I'm very stiff, but definitely making great progress.

@@LisaChavesBeachDancer I just learned about spinal wave from your video and have started doing it. It's similar to what I've been doing to stretch and crack my back. It took 19 years but I'm finally living almost entirely pain free. And I'm able to work and enjoy life again. I put myself through absolute hell through those 19years and almost lost hope a couple times. Because I couldn't afford insurance for most of my recovery I had to learn a variety of physical therapy's on my own. RU-vid has helped tremendous!!😁 Thank you for all the great advice you share.🙏 I'm sure you've helped people more than you realize.♥️

Having scoliosis I have lower back pain at times. I try to sit very erect as slouching hurts. This movement hurt at first but I cold hear my spine releasing and thanking me for moving it. I’ve been hurting it by keeping it stationary. Thank you. So freeing. Practice practice practice!!!!!!

I’ve always been pretty limber and flexible ... I’m worried why I started to do the body twisting and head turning and I got dizzy and nauseous??? Never had this experience before ... :((( I’m afraid something is wrong with my balance and inner ear that is causing this ?

I'm sorry to hear. Were you focusing the eyes and looking around as you should? Do not close your eyes while doing this. And start off slow.

Working in a UK hospital I see so much osteoporosis in elderly people. Really we need to all be doing movements that help our joints and bones.

I do 10 min of spinal waves everyday now. I do some animal locomotion during the day. I work from home is I can be silly without anyone watching. 10 primal squats throughout the day. 100 Kettle bell swings 5 days a week. I hour stretching on the ground, each night. Sat & Sun, is why I am doing all of this mobility and strength training, Jiu Jitsu time!
