That's crazy! Wonder why they decided to do it that way as must've been a lot of work to create those set's and position them. Does explain why the dome doesn't persist once Aloy get's near the exit. Great work! Thanks for sharing.
Imagine you are beta and don't expect anything bad and then suddenly half a forest appears in your face. Just because Aloy is looking at a landscape in this room

I was convinced that it was an actual 3D world due to the parallax/projection matching the camera position. Your video confirms this theory. Here's a fun thought: is it possible to see the mini-world load in real time? Maybe installing the game on a USB 2.0 hard drive could slow down the loading, and then you'd move the freecam out of the dome as fast as possible
Not yet. Im going to try to place machines there and ill clip her in too. Im worried there's no floor. Days like this i wish i brought my Ally to work so i could try this before i get home
@merion297 i just tried a few things. i put clawstriders into the scene. they started inside the dome which is where Aloy's aim goes. one went outside into the scene and walked around. the other came inside and under the platform. the whole scene unloads if Aloy leaves the platform as if shes going downstairs
@@PirateTVProductions Great! :) Yeah, Aloy probably can't be spawned into the Dome's mini-map because she leaves the activation area in that very moment, yeah… But please show us that as machines crawl in around the Dome!! 😁 😂
01. this was such a Wasted, misled feature. it Only works long if one does not disturb the display by talking to the GAIA core there and/or leaving GAIA's said-temporary control room still. Eugh.
@@PirateTVProductions maybe this here, for some mod, etc alternative method to attempt to at least curiously make it work while during in the middle of a dialogye game with GAIA? joke challenge aside.
@@CaptainPilipinas The problem is, you would have to load the assets in seconds every time you enter the room. That will definitely lead to nasty pop-in. But it's not completely impossible
