Honestly I find it interesting that GTA 5 is the only game in the series where you have to do the entirety of the introductory mission before you can touch grass.
For me it's a clear way from Rockstar developers to make the costumers more Aware that human beings are moving further away from nature and what the earth has to offer us every day. It's so sad that people don't even want to walk on the grass and Looking for a sidewalk or paved road
Yeah cars are ruining our public spaces but like this is also a video game about stealing cars and not real life so I give them a pass to pave the whole city.
You don't have to fight the final bunch of cops in the prologue. You can just run away, and the cutscene will play of Trevor escaping into the snowstorm.
In GTA San Andreas you can turn. You just need a mouse fix, such as SilentPatch. Old games don't always function well on new PCs. Edit: You can move the camera in all of these 3D games. Again, it depends if you are using the correct control mode and if a mouse fix is installed.
"I live in a concrete jungle." - millions of people. Also, potheads will tell you you can have grass (weed) at home, touch it and smoke it. And then, there's me who say, just have some grass plants or flowers at home 🤷🏻♂️😝
In GTA 4, you can touch the grass much faster. Immediately after the start, you need to turn around and go back to where Roman came from. Then you need to stop at the barrier and go to the right, on a small embankment there will be a flower bed with grass. Voila.
In GTA V you can just run with Trevor. No need to kill any cops, just leave and it's faster. Technically though, in GTA V it takes over 9 years to touch grass.
@@hollyfut Yes, there is a 9 year gap between Prologue and the rest of the story. Since Prologue happens in North Yankton where it snows, there is no grass.

You couldnt turn your camera in gta sa because you were playing it on a pc that was actually better than the game is supposed to be played on, you can fix that by going to task manager (When your game is turned on) then finding gta sa and right clicking on it and pressing "Go to details" after that find gta sa and press "Set affinity" and put it on one cpu (My suggestion is to put it on "CPU 1").
You do realise in GTA 5 that there is grass under a lot of the snow in the prologue, so technically you already touched grass before getting into the main game.
4:05 If you are playing the OG san andreas on a modern device, depending on which version you are playing (retail, pirated, steam, shitty remaster) you may or may not need to set affinity to only 1 CPU core for the mouse to work properly
4:01 Actually you can turn in GTA SA and later games before gta IV, the issue is Newer mouse drivers are not compatible with older games so new cpu's doesn't really detect the old drivers since there is no compatible driver installed for that game, So there is a thing you have to do to fix it, open the task manager while the game is stil running then right click on gta sa Or any other GTA game with this problem then go to details and right click again and then click on set affinity and uncheck all the cpu cores and keep cpu 0 checked. this should fix the issue.
