In Galaxy you touched a flower bush, not necessarily grass. In Odyssey you broke your rules and counted touching grass during a cutscene.

@@zerg-rush5797 The timer on the top-left corner is stopped before the cutscene even ended. You can see Mario's hand twitching, meaning that the timer stopping isn't due to the whole video being paused.

3:10 Greatest of all time? It was my first game ever, and I have a ton of nostalgia for it, but no way is it anywhere close to my favourites. The camera is asinine at times, the levels are great, but not super creative compared to newer games and so on. I feel like it has a lot of flaws, but it doesn't stop people from absolutely loving it.

Objection! At 5:06 Mario is standing in a flower bed, which typically don't have grass as it would steal nutrients tlfrom the flowers. The green seen there is the leaves of the flowers. The closest grass is the lawn just beyond the stone path there.

Game Boy Mario Land is a tough one to call. If World 1-2 counts as "palm trees" and not "Grass" you would have to get all the way to world 4-1 to Touch Grass

I never really understood the whole touch grass thing until I found a basement dweller in one game and told him to go outside for some fresh air and to touch some grass. Some people just need a life.
