Episode 3 of my new weight loss series 🙌 Tip 3 👉 walking speed “Walking with intent” is a great way to increase the no. of calories you burn over the course of weeks and months Now you don’t need to zoom around like a madman/madwoman 😂 But if you’re intentionally going out for a walk to get some steps in or do some exercise Then picking up the pace will make that walk more effective in terms of calories burned 🔥 Make sure to follow for tomorrow’s tip 🙌
That must be what all the “angry” walkers are doing on the beach. Women trying to walk fast. They stomp around and look pissed off. We just walk everyday. No speed goals but consistent first 15 years. Plus, you naturally go further as time goes on. 5-7 miles is a typical day.
@@Charlotte-uo5zq oh nice! Congrats on your child! My wife gave birth to our daughter 4 months ago. But yeah, if you could afford a step tracker watch or use your phone, the best thing to do would be to make sure you average the same amount of steps per day on that walking pad. 10K is always a great number to start with. But also keep in mind that calories you consume also dictate any weight loss. You are in a tricky situation though since you are postpartum you literally need the extra calories for your body to produce the breast milk you need for your baby. Your body is burning through calories like crazy just producing milk on its own. But good luck, and have fun on your trip! 💪🏼
Christ just checked my average speed mostly 3.3mph on my health app Think if I was doing 4 I would be jogging 😅 Saying that been on it 2years walking and weights, active job eating better Lost weight, smaller clothes, health better So ll good, average 25 thousand steps aday, usually 30 mins of weights a day and 3/5 miles a night time depending
That's one of the reasons I got into Z2/MAF running. I spent most of my time walking fast before it became a run.. It took me 1 year It was my gate to running😅 It changed my mindset from walking as fat burning tool to heart condition tool. When I first started: 20min Z2 after lifting or before didn't effect my lifts. And then I started adding 100m strides for every 1 mile completed and hills sprints sometimes replaced my leg days on 1xweek long run 1hr max 2 years later 1xWeek long run has become 2hrs😅😅 Suddenly *poof* I'm a hybrid athlete? 😅😅 Never looked back
