I still stand by the belief that neither EA nor Popcap were innocent in all of this. It is a shame that Pvz is in such a messy state. I think pvz2 should've stopped getting updated a long time ago, especially when they don't bother to fix any glitches and instead are concerned about overstuffing the game with pointless new updates.

Being a PVZ fan in the recent years is just something else. We can only hope for a miracle now, maybe a game lead that knows what they are doing or something.

At this point, the community is all that's left. Years have turned into months of everything that's left. I'm still holding out for hope, this can't be the end just yet, not with something me and my little brother grew up with. I'm still personally not ready to leave the community yet. So many great people still keeping my passion for this franchise alive. By the way, you did absolutely phenomenal with this.

I really have hope for things to get better in a future for this franchise, it has a lot of potential to give. Everything. From kids to adult content, it is truly a really special franchise, and as the video mentions, a really strong IP. I still have faith for the corporations behind the production one day will unleash the potential and be more open-minded. Anyways, great video as always, Jay!

4:45 - I said it once, I'll say it again, the Upgrade system is an infinitely more complex system then the variants and PopCap failed to make it a good (Or even better) alternative to variants. "Create your own variants with upgrades" an in-game tip said, but how can we create our own Variants if the game (and by extension, the creators) don't give us that feeling of creating our own variants?

i always feel heartbroken whenever i see the current state of PvZ It is and always will be my favorite franchise ever..... but i just feel like it's a completly diferent franchise and not a good one the PvZ franchise is stuck being as safe and boring as you can possibly get thank you for making this video, i can't imagine the pain you had to go through seeing PopCap and EA shattering everything. PD: ¿Any updates on the Dr. Zomboss video?.

Used to be a huge fan of PvZ, but as the series becoming mistreated due to greed and the lack of charm of what makes PvZ great, I sadly abandon it for PvZ Mods/Fan Games as the team behind them treats the series better than what Popcap/EA does. I felt bad for the Original Devs behind PvZ1, as imagine making a game as a passion project only for them to see the game become a soulless cashgrab series. Worst of all, you have no control of getting it back due to law and copyrights.

While I hardly touched Rux's Emporium say for unlocking Wildflower (with 500,000 coins, mind you), the idea of having to grind out weekly events for crap all in terms of rainbow stars is utter nonsense. I'm glad Wildflower and Wizard are unlockable with coins, because that actually takes EFFORT rather than dropping ten bucks for Brainium Basher. And yes, I was really dedicated to completing BFN over four years. (Did all twelve prize maps, got platinum, finished Mr Reward-tron 9000 too.)
